I’m beyond disappointed with this amazon product. The lock looks aesthetically pleasing but that is about the only positive I can provide regarding it. The lock simply sucks. It’s motor mechanism is deafingly loud. It’s difficult to install, impossible to program, the keypad is barely responsive if you can see it. If it’s daytime the screen is next to impossible to read when standing. So I installed the lock and tried numerous times to reset the master code and user code to no avail. So I factory reset it and it allows me to update the master code and add a user is but it would not let me remove or program over the 1234 default user code or add any other codes. Also the lock seemed to get stuck locking in a semi normal basis which concerned me from a security standpoint. Back to amazon it goes. Just is irritating that I have to now drive this to a ups store to ship back to Amazon not to mention the waste of time installing and attempted to set it up. Do not buy you will regret it.

Muy contento con el producto, se ve muy bien, buenos materiales, funciona de mavarilla, ya agregué 4 contraseñas para que una de las personas que entra a la oficina, así no hay necesidad de cargar llaves, esperemos que las baterías duren al menos unos 3 meses. Lo recomiendo.

UPDATE 8/19/19: The issue of the bolt partially locking or unlocking appeared to be because the thumb-turn was in the wrong position. I had take the lock collar off on the inside of the thumb-turn, turn the knob 180 degrees, and reattach the collar and reassemble. No issues since then, works great for our Airbnb that we live next to.
Works well so far, just make sure you have a clear receiver for the bolt in your door jamb. If the bolt binds against anything at all.. it throws off the gears causing it to partially lock or partially unlock, and to be non operational from the inside. Quite frustrating, but once you learn to work around that.. works fine. Programming is a bit convoluted.. it's not 5 seconds for the whole process, just for each entry.

Great lock for the price.
Our 1 year old kwickset door handle literally broke in two last week and after replacing the handle with something much sturdier I realized the finish on the deadbolt from the kwickset lock didn't match the new hardware. The hubby begged and pleaded to get a keypad deadbolt one as he likes to travel light (aka, only a car key and pray that the garage door opens).
Pros:
-Beautiful! Very modern.
-Easy to physically install. I installed it by myself in 10 minutes.
-Though the outer cases appear to be plastic, all the important pieces on the inside are metal (something which was NOT true about my old lock).
Cons:
-The directions for installation is kind of confusing. The screws don't match the lenths indicated in the instruction manual; luckily, a little common sense goes a long way (aka two of these holes = these two same size screws). -The programming instructions are also a little weird and it took me 2 times to get my code in. You almost have to read ahead in order to know what not to do. :)
-The two included keys feel cheap. I'm going to get heavy duty spares made.

This electronic deadbolt is GREAT. I’d buy it again.
Pros:
1. All the hardware meshed perfectly (except the little connector piece which was a bugger to get right. I didn’t want to push it too hard but some buttons on the keypad didn’t end up working so I had to go back in and try to connect it better)
2. You can set it to automatically lock behind you!
3. It can have multiple codes so if you want to add a temporary code for someone and delete it later, you can
4. It glides smoothly and the buttons work great and everything responds properly
5. It is HALF the price of the next best thing, and even less than most popular electronic deadbolts.
Cons:
PROGRAMMING IT!
I knew it would be difficult after reading reviews but it legitimately took me a good 30 minutes solid and I’m usually good at this stuff.
Another reviewer broke it down for everyone, and that’s what I followed.
Some notes:
1. There is a lot of lingo. The PROGRAMMING code puts you in programming mode, the user ID is a two digit number letting you differentiate between codes for programming...
