Scott: I like this lock but would like to see the key to be easier to use. Maybe put it in a different location or on top.
Seems hard to access when locked up.

jim mills: Once you push cable through it will not release or slip back without turning the key and you can pull as tight as you want and will not slip back.

JG: Way better than your average lock. Super easy to use and very durable. I needed a lock that was easy to put around a security gate and this worked perfectly. I could imagine it would work well as a bike lock or for other purposes. I waited a few months to write this review to see how it held up. It's been in extremely heat and a ton of rain, sand storms, you name it. And it hasn't jammed up once, locks pretty easily each time and is easy to use.

psusportsman: I've purchased 3 of these cable locks at 3 separate times. Packages received early.
The locks work well. The camouflage design adds some stealth while also securing my trail cameras to a tree. I hunt public land where we are not allowed to screw camera mounts or security boxes (or anything else) into trees. Going with just a strap is probably not a good idea either, just to keep people honest. It's a good idea to consider these locks for some added security, and, peace of mind.

Hagar: I bought this to lock up my RV battery on my trailer, having had one stolen already. It doesn't tighten enough to really lock it in - someone with some time could start sliding it off and still get at the battery, but it would slow them down and hopefully make them move on to the next trailer! You would really need a notch in the battery cover for this to work effectively.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I bought 2 of these locks to secure dual LiFePO4 battery boxes on the RV. $40 spent to help secure $1000 worth of batteries, seemed like a good investment. I say ‘help’ secure because as another reviewer mentioned, it won’t stop all thieves but it will slow them down considerably. Both locks are a bit stiff on the locking mechanism initially but I expect they will loosen up over time with use. Received same coded locks so one key opens both 👍 Happy with my purchase.

Vic Michener: Used it to lock two kayaks together, and works great. Only complaint is you need to use the key to lock it up; you need to release the workings, slide in the cable, then lock. Would be more convenient if you could just slide the cable in. As others have noted key is pretty dinky and not the smoothest action.
