MG: All my corals are better for it ... For my system I had a good idea and that is add it to my top up water that I keep separate to the tank of course which means it drip feeds fluid constantly over a week or two without bashing it in one hit.. so I put a two week dosage in ... seems to work fine in my system... my corals seemed a bit shocked when I first put it in directly to the tank hence I took the slower drip method of my top up device ... make your own mind up

Ryan_79Ryan_79: Been using this (Reef Trace) since I started on the reefkeeping hobby and had been showing great results. As biological processes deplete both major and minor trace elements overtime, supplementation is necessary for a well maintained and healthy reef. With this, I’ve only done major water changes every few months, 20% every 4-6months. Now, I’ll be supplementing Reef Trace in combination with Reef Plus through a designated dosing pump where I’ve tried using a more expensive product. It’s practical for me to use this two combination since these two have an almost equivalent amount of Trace elements and Vitamins with a much more affordable price. All I have to do is mix these two in equal amounts to mimic the other brand I’ve used for some time now.

Bryan: I use this and its hard to say that it really does anything that I can tie directly to this product. But my tank is healthy and my corals all are thriving. After using all of my 500 ml bottle, I ordered a 2 liter bottle. When the 2 liter bottle arrived, there seems to be a layer of dark, think stuff on the bottom. So I shook it really well, but now it contains the normal liquid and a bunch of small black debris that will not mix back into solution. It makes me think its been sitting on the shelf forever since it is poorly mixed. I probably should have returned it, but I started using it before I realized it was not old. My 500 ml bottle did not have this problem.
