This brought it right up to around 7 within two days. I wasn’t sure whether to use this product or Neutral Regulator, but the Alkaline Buffer product seems to be safer for plants so I chose that. You don’t need a lot - not sure I’ll ever use all 10.5 ounces - but it solved my problem really well.

Chris: Save yourself money and just buy a box of baking soda because that’s all this is. 300 grams of baking soda for $10, good job Seachem you got me.

Mikey: This powder is actually bicarbonate. It is not just for KH but also for PH. Be aware of what you are doing with it.

Andrew N.: I have been using this product for a while to help slightly raise my pH. My water is slightly acidic and with the use of this product my tanks sit right around 7.4. My rainbow fish, gouramis, and tetras all seem to be doing well. I’ve also used this product in a smaller cory tank and then breed fairly regularly. The only “grip” I have is how much I have to use for my larger tanks. I add more in every other water change and it seems like I burn through it quickly. Wish there was a concentrated version like with Seachem safe. Anyway overall I’d give it a 8/10

Zoe: This product does work but use some caution, don't just blinding follow the directions just use it as a guide. Luckily I was testing the product first before using it in my aquariums, but if I had followed the directions as they are on the label it would not have been good. It's a good product but best to smart small and see how much you actually need to use to get the parameters your looking to get.
I ended up only needing about 30% of the stated amount in the directions to get to where I needed.
