jmliii: No problems with this installation. Purchased an Aeotec SmartThings Hub for the Z-Wave connection. There are no problems with the lock install or its connection to the Hub. I do recommend you watch the video on the website which better addresses all the parts and installation steps. Lock is very solid and works as expected. Entering or changing codes can be done with the SmartThings app via the Smart Lock Guest Access features available by selecting Life at the bottom of the Favorites screen. The Hub was automatically recognized by Alexa and so was the Schlage lock once connected. Voice control is available but not something I will use. SmartThings app shows the lock status and battery condition. Local or remote lock and unlock is a snap. SmartThings app is very functional and does the job but not as comprehensive as the Schlage app for Wi-Fi locks. Once setup the SmartThings app will allow you to save only the lock to your phone home screen if all you want is a simple icon on the phone to lock or unlock the door.

Amazon Customer: Love the overall function and ease of installation. A little loud when the auto lock is engaged but also a good thing because then you know it is locking or unlocking your door.

Paul C. Seeberg: This is my second smart lock (same model) I installed, and integrated into my Alarm.com system (QOLsys Panel 2) . Works great with the panel, alarm.com app and schedules.

Like any deadbolt, you must ensure the lock and the jamb are in line with each other.

Installation is very straight forward. Very similar to most deadbolts. The key can be re-keyed to the rest of your house, assuming you have the same key for all doors (like we have)

If you have a home automation system, alarm with HA features or other systems that use Z-wave, this lock would be a great choice.

My alarm will alert me when the battery is low, which is nice. Unsure about other systems.

Attractive trim. reliable. durable. Time will tell how UV stable the exterior touch pad is. My first one (same model) is on year 4 now, and looks new.

Cemil: I don't believe the z-wave radio on this device is tuned to Australian frequencies. I was not able to pair to home assistant at all, under any conditions. All manuals are USA/CAN, so I'd be very surprised if it was an Australian z-wave radio. Shame!

Camera GuyCamera Guy: The media could not be loaded.  This is my 5th Electronic controlled deadbolt lock utilizing a keypad, Biometrics, bluetooth, or RFID and the second Schlage dead bolt with Keypad and Z-Wave technology. Out of all the brands I have purchased and installed Schlage is hands down the best. It was the least complicated and only required a screwdriver to install, no additional drilling required for mounting plates. The ring app gives me feedback directly to my phone if it has been unlocked or locked it works flawlessly with Alexia. I made a video demonstrating how quick the response is to lock and unlock (about 4 seconds) adding a voice code so someone can't just walk up to you window and ask Alexia to unlock. (I used 1234 as a demo voice code only) I can use the Ring app as well to control the lock. A nice feature is I can set the Ring Alarm System to come on when I lock the door and...
