Her Royal Dollness: I've been looking for 2 gallon zip bags for a while in local stores with no luck. I finally looked here on Amazon, and found this box of 100 Freezer 2 gallon bags. I have been very happy with them--this is such a useful size and the thickness has been sturdy enough for my various sewing and craft supplies and in-progress projects. I will definitely buy again.

Neal: Nice large bags for storing your flour sugar or cereal box in to help cut down any pests (as in ants or roaches not thick enough to prevent mice or rats!!). I put a dessicant pack in each also and so far that works well. Place bagged items in a Rubbermaid tub (or similar) and usually rats leave that alone. If not you have bigger problems than food storage!! But these are great bags. Pricey yes but big and again thicker than most. Easily reused for my purposes. Bet they're great in the freezer. Shop around in price.

Mumsie: These freezer bags are great. Big enough for a full loaf of bakery bread. The pressure zip closure is much easier to manage than Ziploc's other freezer bags, and it closes securely.
The plastic feels like a lighter weight, so don't know how well it will protect from freezer burn. Other than that, I like them.
