Nice little anchor. Its ability to hold firm depends highly on what it's being screwed into.
We tested it out of the first time this recently in several different locations. You can feel how good of a grip you're getting when you screw it into the ground.
I've read other reviews complaining about how it can't be disassembled once it gets sand into it. We have a large enough compartment on the boat to stow it fully assembled, so that isn't an issue for us.

Had the same issue as many with the unit not coming easily apart. Sandshark Customer Service reached out to me to rectify the issue. Susan is outstanding and worked with me to come up with a solution. In a day and age where customer service is a forgotten thing in most companies Sandshark shines and restores my faith that there are companies that truly care about their customers satisfaction.

This anchor is awesome. It held two jet skis and a big float with ease on a sandbar with a very strong current and a ton of wakes from boats going by! It’s great to have peace of mind once you get it set up. The first use it is nearly impossible to dissemble. But the more you use it, the better it gets. And even disconnecting it while in the water makes it easier.

This was a great idea, however the sand gets stuck in the pull apart connectors, and you can't pull the anchor apart (tricky for jetski). When it was hosed and tapped, it still wouldn't dislodge the sand, and therefore it was not beneficial to use. In relation to holding the ski, it did a tremendous job. I will look at an other sandshark that may not have the problems I encountered.
