Colton R: Much cheaper then OEM and it looks the exact same as the one from SEADOO but for a fraction of price. Used all summer in calm/choppy water. Some drifting on very rough waters but how much weight do you want in your seadoo?

Courtney: I use the 3.5 lb painted / galvanized anchor. Both of mine came with a PVC bouy which was ideal for longevity. Being 3.5 lbs it works fantastic on rivers and creeks with a current. Independent prongs will dig right into a soft bottom and keep me in place. I kayak fish with a 13.5' long by 34" wide kayak and it keeps me in place. I'd imagine on a lake or ocean with the potential for greater current you are going to want to invest in a much heavier anchor but this works perfect for creeks, rivers, ponds and smaller lakes

Bryce Jay Follett: Works just fine for my little 12' fishing boat. If the wind is heavy and there's no weeds on the bottom, then it'll drag a bit but it's only a 3.5 pound anchor, so no reason to have super high expectations there. I personally haven't had an issues with the rope that it comes with, nor the buoy float, it seems like the float is made out of hard plastic. Rope isn't super long, but you wouldn't be able to fit much more and have it fit in the bag that it comes with, which I really like too. I have some paracord attached to carabiners that I hook this to so I can extend it and it works a charm. Price is right too

Kyra: Absolutely love this anchor. I have an intex K2 inflatable kayak that my wife and I use at least once a week and this anchor has been amazing. It's incredibly durable, I've added some extra line for when we go out in the ocean and we're at a 20-30ft depth. It comes in in travel bag and is so light I usually misplace it on the boat lol.. We're in south Florida and have used it in canals, the inner coastal, and in the open ocean. The only downside is when we use it in the ocean it doesn't really catch onto anything unless there's rocks or a reef. It drags on the sand ocean floor and definitely slows us down significantly from drifting but until we hook onto something, it won't keep us 100 in place. Otherwise, wellllllll worth every penny, we will be getting a second one for the additional kayak we just ordered!

ROCK-ReviewROCK-Review: The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for stand up paddle boarding. Small and compact:
Pros:
-Small: can easily be carried on a canoe or paddle board
-Easy to maneuver
-Long solid rope with clips
-Comes in nice water proof bag
-Floating ball at the end of rope makes this impossible to lose
-I used it on a 300lbs canoe and it still was able to stop it without any issue.
-Great for fishing! My main use
Cons:
-I bought myself something similar to this last year but I had to cut the rope. The way they are made the blades extending out makes this a easy target to get stuck under a rock or dead tree. In a canoe it it possible to pull on it really hard to retrieve it, but on a paddle board you are better off just cutting the rope and let it be (unless if the water is not deep and you are willing to got and get it).
-Weeds gets easily tangle around it. You constantly need to clean it when retrieving

Ken S.Ken S.: A very good Anchor for the price. A better value than Yak Gear. The anchor is well built galvanized steal and painted red making it easier to find should you lose it. The claws can be locked either the open or closed position. The bag that comes with it is made of sturdy nylon and is also padded. The only thing I'd recommend is include at least 50 feet of line because 25 foot is not long enough. Other wise I would've given it 5 stars. The line it comes with (although too short) is pretty heavy-duty and the marker Buoy and steel snap ring is a nice addition. I'm using their cord as a tow line for other crafts. I'd recommend this Yak Gear Product to use with the anchor: YakAttack SideWinder, Anchor Line Reel, Includes Track Hardware and 75' of 550 Paracord
If you have a water craft heavier than 160 pounds including battery, motor and gear (minus the occupant), Don't waste your time on the 1.5 pound Anchor. the 1.5LB works well for 9 and 10 foot Kayaks. Anything bigger and I'd go with the 3LB or 3.5LB. My single-occupant Pontoon boat, with a full-sized battery Trolling Motor and gear was too heavy for the 1.5 LB and it wouldn't hold. The 3.5LB Anchor works...

MarineCorpsFire: This is my second anchor for my kayak. It works fairly well. The grapnel hooks into soft sand and mud, then can been secured in place to be used in rocky areas with out getting caught. I use two of these to help keep the kayak from drifting out a place.
