Ryobi 40 Volt Compatible ADVTRONICS 6.0Ah 40V Lithium-Ion Battery (OP4050A)

Steve M: I bought this battery for my Ryobi electric lawn mower, since it was a lot cheaper than Ryobi’s replacement battery. A few years ago I bought another after-market battery that failed after only a few months of use, so I was leery of getting ripped off again. But this battery seems to be working well so far. I’ve used it for a whole summer of mowing and it hasn’t lost its charge… yet! Here’s hoping.

KrystianW: Used this for my ryobi weed whacker and lawn mower. It lasts for a couple uses if I just weed whack the yard, about 45 minutes each use. It can last to mow the whole front lawn, which is about an hour or so but then needs to be charged again before the next use or risk it dying halfway through. But for us it’s perfect. If you have a bigger area to care for, you may need at least one backup.

Q. Lee: I bought this as a backup to the battery that came with the mower. So far I have found that it lasts longer than the OEM battery. A really good value.

M. J. Sears: Good for the price. Probably not 6AH, but runs my blower, mower, and weed eater (even with the tiller attachement). I am no longer going to buy Ryobi batteries.
