Héctor C.Héctor C.: Que increible que por fin bajaron el precio de la de 4 AMP, porque esta batería llevaba más de un año cerrándome el ojo pero el precio de casi $4,000 si era una limitación. Es del mismo tamaño que la de 3 AMP (ver foto). La voy a usar con una desbrozadora, sopladora y con mis dos Matrix.

Por cierto increíble que aunque la imagen que muestran es un modelo anterior, la que realmente te entregan es un modelo más reciente que tiene difusores de calor y superficies antiskid. Bien por B+D

David Suich: These batteries last about 10 minutes, but they are MUCH better than the 3rd party batteries made for Black and Decker. Do NOT get this battery along with the chainsaw unless you have only very small jobs.

Newt: I love the power this battery has. I’ve been using 3 smaller batteries for my black and decker trimmer for the past 2 1/2 years and could never trim around the entire house without having to use them all 3. This one battery lasts all the way around the house and still has more to give. Now I can finally trim under the property fence and don’t have to hire someone with a gas trimmer to do it; my new battery has the power. My only regret is that I didn’t buy one sooner!

Ashley Bronaugh: This battery worked great until it didn't. Turns out there was some corrosion on the circuit board inside - cleaned it up and let it dry out and it started working again. The board isn't potted in silicone or epoxy like higher end tool batteries so it's susceptible to water damage.

Cy: Don't waste your time with the 1.5 and 2.0 ah batteries from Black and Decker. This battery is bigger and heavier than those, but if you have a large job, this battery will keep its charge the whole time and you want have to swap out the battery like you will with the 1.5 or 2.0 ah batteries. I have a large lot. When trimming the grass, this battery lasts the entire time. When trimming my cedar hedges (an all-day job), this battery lasts much longer than the 1.5 and 2.0 ah batteries. In all, I have two 1.5 ah batteries, one 2.0 ah battery, and one of these 4.0 ah batteries. I can almost get all my hedges trimmed without having to re-charge any of these batteries. It takes me around 5 to 6 hours to trim my hedges. I am going to buy another of these batteries and then next year I will probably be able to do the entire job without having to re-charge.

-Same solid construction of all the other black and decker batteries
-Gives a stronger kick to the drill than the stock battery does

CONS:
-Can take a while to charge(unless you have the fast charger
-Is a bit heavy, but not too bad

100% buy this over the two pack of smaller batteries. It's a much better value for the same amount of battery capacity(Ah). It's almost crazy how long this thing lasts, makes the matrix drill I have seem less like a pansy drill. I don't really have a time estimate on continuous use, but I'm sure you can get several hours of pretty constant use out of it. The only things you need to take into account are the facts that if you don't have the fast charger, this thing is going to take the entire day to charge. It really is a racket that they make you spend $35 on the fast charger, but if you use these products enough, you may as well get it. At the same time though, if you are using this a lot, I'm not sure why you didn't buy a Dewalt or Makita drill... The other thing to take into account is the fact that this battery can make the drill a bit heavy and throw off the balance, so be...

R. Murray: I love all my B&D 20 Volt tools and even the less amp/hour battery lasts an amazingly long time. I have Every B&D 20 Volt drill made and all the accessories including 2 Matrix drills with all the adapters and I won't have to buy a drill for along time. Only change I have Made is install Jacobs 1/2 inch chucks 31037 with the 3/8 x 24 to every drill I have which I think is a far superior chuck because it tightens better than the stock drill. I also find that all the drills have more than enough power for up to a half inch drill and even if the drill fails it's a inexpensive replacement. I've been a licensed mechanic for over 40 years so I can tell a Quality tool from a piece of junk. Getting back to the 4 amp/hour battery it seems to last for ever before you have to charge it and at under 65 dollars a great buy. I tend to use this battery on my larger B&D tools such as my 20 Volt chainsaw,reciprocating saw, and usually my Matrix Drills. You can't go wrong purchasing this battery
