Rust-Oleum Painters Touch Latex 1/2-Pint White Paint for Interior and Exterior Use

Bergy: I used the on my garage door as a top coat over Bulls Ewhr 1-2-3 primer it covered well and went on smothley . I cant really rate the Duribility as it has only been one week. clean up was easy with just water and the garden hose, I woul recoment this and buy it again.

T.B. CooperT.B. Cooper: This is my go to clear coat for all my projects. When I found it for a great price here on Amazon, I was ecstatic. Unfortunately, it's not what I received. Ordered the Clear Coat, and even tho the label on top of the can said Clear Coat, it was instead Flat Khaki Camouflage... now I have to return it and head to a store to pay extra, which also puts me behind schedule since I really needed it.

Spega: I have used this paint on both my front door and now on outdoor furniture. It provides great coverage and seems to stand up well to the elements. The gloss is really beautiful! I started with really expensive FP of Europe than Benjamin Moore and now this. FP of Europe is gorgeous but preparation and application are difficult & time-consuming. The BJ Moore front door paint also required the door to be taken down, painted flat & then dry for 78 hours. How the heck is a homeowner going to be able to do that? It rained on day #2 and the paint lifted off on sheets. No. No. No.
Finally, Rustoleum. Sand & paint. Dry in about 4-6 hours. No streaking. So far has lasted 3 years & still looks great. Great paint, love the navy blue color and the least expensive of the three with the best results!!

Zack M.: I got the semi-gloss white version and when they say white they should say Snow White or bright white because it’s as white as white gets which is exactly what I was going for.

The paint itself is really thick, almost the consistency of silicone and I knew that wasn’t going to apply smoothly so I thinned it thankfully it’s water based paint and water worked very well although after thinning the drying times differed from what the can implied. Anyway I’m no professional by any means but when paints that thick it should be thinned especially if doing in hot and humid areas that heat will dry that paint so fast you’ll be sanding for a smooth finish. Thankfully my project was indoors and climate controlled I probably could’ve painted it on straight out the can but you live and you learn.

Overall it’s a great paint and looks wonderful after it dries. Update, I did try this on another project without thinning and it dried way smoother than the project I did where I thinned it so prepare to slap it on thick just if working in the heat be quick. Also I should note both projects were done indoors where there was no humidity and the temperature stayed below...

sandrine: I was concerned when I did the first coat, as the purple in the paint was very noticeable, but I let it dry, hoping for the best. Which it is! It dried to a gorgeous shade of coffee brown which matches my stained wood furniture so well, you’d need to look closely to tell the difference. (Not saying it’s perfect, just that it does the trick) It dries to a soft finish and let the wood grain come through in a very natural way, so that I was able to use less expensive wood, since the price of wood was so high after pandemic. I love the texture. It’s easy to use with a roller or a brush and goes on smoothly. In short, great color, great value and you should buy it. Wish they had a lighter shade as good as this one.

J: The bucket was MUCH smaller than I predicted, not very much for an entire room. Just baseboards perhaps. But paint covers a lot and is not thin.

Heather: This is awesome paint. It is most commonly sold in a spray can. In the past I have purchased it in the can. When I went shopping I could not find it any where nor did any one know what I was talking about. It is very easy to work with. The rich smooth texture covers well and self levels like an oil base paint. The antique metal chairs will look wonderful for a long time.

chrisochiai: Used this paint on outdoor flower boxes, benches & a wood swing. Dries quickly, used a few coats to completely cover the wood surfaces. Dries to a deep rich looking brown. Latex easy to clean off hands & brush. Very satisfied
