TXJaxon: I ordered these to replace the straps on several ladder tree stands. Out of an abundance of caution, I replace the straps every year. These are perfect for that. The only minor drawback I can point out for my application is that the short side of the strap is actually rather long. So when using these to strap a stand to a tree, you have to reach around the tree a bit to work the ratchet. Not a deal breaker, but be aware.

Red Paw Lion: I bought these to tie down my 17ft boat and found them to be a decent little set of rachets for the intended load. No issues traveling in high winds on the highway and easy to use. I really would have liked to have seen them open up a bit more when you need to release them. They're definitely not as good a quality as my heavy duty sets but they're great for the price point.

Ben: First, note that THEY'RE ONLY 8 FEET LONG, TOTAL. Nowhere was it written on the ad and I assumed they were at least 10 feet. They're a little bit too short for my taste. The strap is 1 inch wide and very thin. It won't last long exposed to the elements, that's for sure.
Note that those ratchets are very cheaply made too. 900lbs IS PROBABLY EXAGGERATED. I would NOT use them for anything serious like do not hang heavy stuff with them or strap heavy things to a trailer, this is bound to fail catastrophically, IMO. The ratchet's metal is VERY THIN and I am 100% sure I could bend those out of shape just by tightening them a bit too much. This happened to ratchet metal that was at least twice as thick, so I have no doubt this would happen to those, it feels cheap and fragile, just by holding them in your hand.
I bought them because I needed a camouflage color to discreetly straighten branches of a 14 feet tall bush that collapsed a little during winter due to heavy snow. This is the advertised camouflage color so I'm happy with my purchase, but I would not use it for tightening anything heavy. Mazey White: Very cheap and great for the money. Work great if you don't plan on doing something crazy with them. I use them to secure my 15' aluminum boat to the trailer. No problems whatsoever. They have been through 14 hours of hauling that boat.
