Karan: I've used a thicker version of this item before. They are great for tying electrical cords or other items together. The thicker version seems like it would be more durable over time, especially for heavier items/cords.

Hawkeye: This was a reorder for me. This little device has lasted me many years of twisting, pulling, wrapping on numerous items in my shop. My new use is to keep the plug in my hedge trimmer from falling out. Once again, GREAT! This is virtually indestructible. Now I have some extras, just in case. This make your life easier, without a doubt. It is virtually indestructible and very versatile as well. Every organized shop or garage needs more than one. Go for it. Not designed for heavy or thick electrical extension cords, just not strong enough.
We use them on many patch cords, electric cords, they work well in the cold too (-20*c)
