Jens: Holds a large 119lb tandem kayak on the roof of the car well. Orange color is easier to see in the dark than black or green so that is a plus. We used three of the straps for the kayak. We used foam pads rather than a roof rack. Pass the straps through the open car doors, tighten, and then shut car doors. Will report back in a year or two of use or if they fail, break, or fade etc...

Boyd: I can't give five stars yet, since I can't confirm the break point. I have my doubts because the strap material is so thin compared to other brands I have. However after traveling a highway in Colorado that was very rough due to all the diverting due to construction and expecting my road glide to get tossed free, found it still strapped in place after multiple crazy diversions on that roadway.

Kindle Customer: Used these straps to tie down our motorcycle for the trip home to Florida from Illinois. We used a different type for the trip up and had to keep stopping and reconnecting them. The Illinois roads were very rough on the tow vehicle. These straps made the entire trip and never once slipped or loosened. Would buy again.

J Carlson: I bought these because my current straps don't have clips over hooks so these are easier to secure a load when you are alone. But straps are much thinner and narrower than my old straps rated for much less weight so I doubt the claim is valid. Was hauling motorcycle and a rear strap sheared into two pieces. Thankfully it was a rear strap so not critical. The edge of the luggage rack although not sharp, was square enough it basically cut/wore through the strap after 3 hours down highway. Old straps used in same location never had issues. Love the bright orange color and case but I don't think they were worth so much more than my other straps.
