Royal Craft Wood Bamboo Cutting Board - Natural, Durable, and Eco-Friendly

Ryan Ochoa: Based on the price, I thought these were only going to last a few months. It has been almost 2 years and I still use these cutting boards multiple times a week. I don't think you're supposed to, but I threw these in the dishwasher a few times when they've soaked up a bit of oil and they cleaned right up. This was a great purchase. My only complaint is that the two smaller cutting boards aren't as useful as the larger one. I tend to use the larger one the most. Still a great purchase.

GizmoGizmo: Hi, i see over 25,000 and not one person has mentioned this either folks are just blind or seeing it and nor saying anything.

Pros:

* 3 items for the price of half of a good cutting board
* Arrived fast and return process was easy
* They look beautiful and compliment any kitchen ( if they actually worked properly)

Cons:

* leaves over massive amounts of Wood lint
* if you a daily user or even a few times a few don't buy this item

Save yourself the money and either get a proper Boos Block of Cuisinart

Mark: I have owned many different cutting boards before and it didn’t really occur to me that bamboo cutting boards( and some wood) require proper maintenance. It’s not a bad thing to need to maintain your property but I would have chosen a different product having given it informed thought- completely on me not the product and no reflection of that in my rating. You must hand wash them, use food grade oils that are specific to bamboo, and regularly sand them to maintain finish. Without doing these things, in 2 uses, mine have started to splinter little bamboo hairs all over the boards. Overall the boards are nicely built and have a nice look to them but I was definitely surprised to see them splintering, after looking into why that is happening it makes sense. In the future I’ll pick a board that required less maintenance. Much like I love cast iron, but don’t use it everyday for the same reason.
