EliG: I’m a big fan of the restaurants and was looking forward to trying the recipes, but many of them rely on store bought, pre-prepared sauces and mixes. I wish they broke down how to actually prepare them at home, that was the whole point of buying the book.

Harmo: Je suis déçue, ce n'est pas ce à quoi je m'attendais..trop de recettes au tofu et au bambou. Je pensais y trouver plein de recettes au wok avec beaucoup de légumes mais à 1 ère vue les associations ne font pas rêver..

Tom DeKoek: I am half Thai but am allergic to seafood so this cookbook is a good reference when cooking my favorite Thai dishes. It’s not written very well though. Measurements are vague (1 onion- but how many grams? Large onion or small onion?) and cooking times seem off. I wouldn’t recommend this book if you’re a serious cook and are cooking for more than 1 person. The serving sizes are so small it’s not enough for two people. The photos are beautiful though and I’m sure the restaurant is very good.

Elle: Great range of dishes and overall a lovely book. Ingredients list is in pale grey, very small text which is a shame. I don't have a sight problem but will still need to peer at this book while cooking!

Zultan: I am a big fan of Thai food but find it difficult to order many of the foods I like because so many of them include fish sauce. So far I have made about a dozen recipes from this book and they have all been delicious, strictly vegetarian (most of them vegan) and not too difficult or time-consuming. My family (not vegetarians) has enjoyed them all as well.
My only slightly negative comments: Some of the ingredients are difficult/impossible to get in my small town. Also, the recipes tend to be on the spicy side which tastes good but is a little surprising if you aren't ready for it.
Overall: a great cookbook.

Annie DC: I have not cooked from this yet, but it would have been nice to know before buying that 46 recipes are indexed under TOFU, and several more under TVP.
I don’t eat tofu that frequently, and have gotten pretty good at swapping out other vegetarian proteins, but probably would not have purchased if I had known it was that soy focused.
