JJDante: This is a great, clear book for toddlers learning speech. It’s very simple which is what you need with a toddler doing speech therapy. My son’s speech therapist uses it during sessions and my son responds well to it.

Amazon Customer: My kids both loved this book as a fresh one year old. Most of their first words have come directly from this book. Words are articulated clearly and book is bound strong for years of play. I include this as a gift for every 1st birthday kid!

CM: Surprisingly my child isn’t interested in pressing the buttons. She loves looking at the pictures and can identify all of the objects. She also “reads” the small words at the bottom, using her finger and babbling along.

emerett: The media could not be loaded. Its a good book, I thought that it made the sound of the animal but it just says the word. I don't recall if it said this in the description, it could have and I just missed it. But still great for learning! I bought this one used and it came in great condition!!! I actually by the majority of my sons books used rather than full price. He's only 15 months so they are going to end up getting pretty beat up anyways. And of course its always great to recycle them!

Sorthur Schopengaard: I was enthused with this book until... it got crazy! It stopped working properly and then the buttons were all mixed up: now if you push the cat button it says "boat!" if you push the flower button it says "apple!". It has become less than useless: harmful to learning!
Later on, I realized that a change of battery was enough to fix it.
