Bryan: Don't even think about shooting field pointed arrows from a 400+ ft/sec crossbow bolt into this target if not lubed. I did this three times and with my removal tool would not budge the arrow. I had to make a special long lever to get enough leverage plus add tape and string to the shaft to get enough grab. I almost gave up. After you remove the arrow, you can feel where target material has melted onto the arrow shaft. I moved to using Sevr mechanical broadheads and lubed the arrow before each shot with Scorpion Venom string lubrication. It worked fine with the arrows with a broad head but it did not work with the arrows with field points. The broad head must open the cavity just enough so friction can't generate enough heat to melt the target. It did not work on the one arrow I tried with a field point. It got stuck just like the others. In all fairness there probably is a better shaft lubrication that is designed just for this. That maybe would solve the problem. Would like to know what lube the Rinehart folks recommend.

Marshall: The quality of the material is excellent! I will be interested to see how long it last shooting broad heads into it, so far I’ve put about 20 in it and you can’t even tell.

Removing folding broadheads is much easier with this target than I’ve experienced with other targets so that is a plus as well. Pulling them backwards is easy to do so no more pushing arrows all the way through the other side to get the folding broadhead out.

The overall size was smaller than expected but it works out because it’s easier and lighter to load up and haul around than other targets. “Aim small miss small” is always a good thing to practice anyways!

The hi-viz colored target rings make shooting in low light just as easy as shooting in mid day.

Overall it’s a great purchase.

AlexAlex: I initially purchased this target August of 2020 and decided to try and see just how much I can get out of it. Its now August 2023 and I can say this thing hangs in there. I've shot this with compound bows and crossbows. I dont shoot every day but I do practice alot before and during bow season. I've used field points and broad heads up to 2 inch cut. Im just now getting to the point where its letting arrows slide a bit to far in and finding a hard spot is getting tough. My only complaint is the paint could be better and design for dot placement. With that being said I plan on purchasing another and painting it all black and putting dots where I feel like I could get even more shots in before retiring it. Also I plan on using a softer color. Late afternoon shooting can be a bit hard due to the bright green spots. I will possibly go with a bright red or a light orange.

patrick: First, the target is great! I bought it so I can see where my broadheads hit in comparison to the field points and it works great. Broadheads do cut it up pretty bad, to be expected, but I'm happy and I'm sure it will last a long time. Bright targets on all sides and easy to carry around.

Last, I'm not sure why but buying things from Amazon lately it takes the products forever to begin to ship. I received this target in two days from when it was shipped, which is great and what I've come to expect from Amazon, but it didn't ship for 5 or 6 days after I purchased it. That's not very quick turn around after purchase and pretty painful to just see it sit in pre-shipment phase for so long.
