Lee: This bag/block has no problem stopping my crossbow bolts moving at 420fps. The deepest penetration I have seen so far is about half of my 22” hyperflite bolt. The price can’t be beat, other blocks marked for the same stopping ability of 450fps are easily a hundred bucks more or even higher. Easy bolt removal, two fingers slides right out!

99: I must say I am very pleased with this target. It is heavy but it works great. Shooting 400 fps/380 g. arrow at 10 yards...stops every time well short of the fletching. Easy to pull out arrows too.

Coleman Holland: Good for field tips only! Removal of your bolt can be a little difficult but you can pull them out. Target is thick and a bit heavy. Should last a long time.

Don K: This target it absolutely one of the very best targets for the money. It easily stops a 410 gr arrow going 380 ft/sec at 20 yards and it has 4 sides you can pound on. There are 4 different target faces to add interest. The only con is that it is a bit heavy but there is no choice if you want a target this tough which really isn't a big deal at all.

Rodito: Es un producto resistente, duradero y de buen precio. Lo que no me gusto es que en los primeros tiros la punta de la flecha queda tan apretada que se salieron las espigas con la punta de la flecha en más de una ocación. Después de unos 30-40 tiros se aflojó el tejido y fué màs fácil extraer la flecha del producto. Si lo recomiendo, pero...tengan cuidado al principo al sacar las flechas. Lo he utilizado con arcos desde 25 hasta 75 libras y ballestas de 1000 libras de arrastre y resiste muy bien.

It is a resistant, durable and good price product. What I did not like is that in the first shots the arrowhead is so tight that the spikes with the arrowhead came out in more than one occasion. After about 30-40 shots, the tissue gave way and it was easier to extract the arrow from the product. If I recommend it, but ... be careful to the prince when taking out the arrows. I have used it with bows from 25 to 75 pounds and crossbows of 405 fps and it resists very well.

MARTIN ABREU BERISTAIN: Las dos agarraderas se sienten muy endebles y es posible que en cualquier momento se rompa una o las dos y,se dificultaría su movilidad, este objetivo es pesado llegando a casi 18 kg de peso, es decir, si uno busca movilidad no es tan adecuado que digamos. Tal como otros compradores lo describen viene por abajo con un mal acabado en grapas en vez de que sea cosido, con lo cual hay que tener cuidado si se usa en interiores, pero definitivamente sirve para práctica en casa o en campo. Hice siete disparos de prueba en diversos lugares de éste parapente y los soportó perfectamente bien, es sumamente fácil de sacar las flechas disparadas a 320 fps., me da la impresión que de alguna manera tiene un lubricante liquido, que cuando se acabe dificultaría la extracción de las flechas, para lo cual habrá que usar un saca flechas o incluso un liquido saca flechas. Por otra parte aunque hay lugares mal impresos, en términos generales está muy bonito y presenta varias áreas muy divertidas para el tiro, tal como lo dice en una de las caras, estoy de acuerdo que sirve para interiores y exteriores, sin embargo, dada la tecnología que pudiera tener para el sacado tan fácil de las...

Alexei: While the item Description says that this is the Bone Collector 400FPS target, which is usually meant for crossbows, what you actually get is a Morrell 400FPS Double Duty target meant for both crossbows and compounds (the picture for the item is correct). I have so far shot 50-60 arrows into this target from distances between 10 and 40 meters using a compound bow set to 29"@52lbs. None of the arrows got past the center of the target. Arrows easily come out when pulled with just two fingers and the target doesn't seem to get beaten up much at all.

I shot these exact same arrows at a range recently with a foam wall and could barely pull those arrows out with both of my hands, let alone two fingers, so whatever they did with this target seems to really work - gracefully stop the arrows and make them easy to remove.

So far, highly recommended! I'll update my review if this target dies prematurely for some reason, but so far I have high hopes for it!

Skizzokiter: This product works well, I have used it for a couple months now and I can say that Morrell is a company with outstanding values when it comes to customer service.

I now have two of their products because of a snafu that happened with the shipping system through amazon. I have this product and another called the yellow jacket which is also available on amazon. this one is shorter and more stable than the yellow jacket, both have the same type of shell on them this one seems to have a little more stopping power than the yellow jacket which is still more than adequate to stop arrows from my 50lb compound bow. They would both easily handle a 70lb bow and I think that the double duty here would handle anything you throw at it as bows and crossbows go. These are all handmade in the usa in a small factory. After dealing with their sales team I would support them any time.

Now if I could award bonus stars here I would, the afformentioned shipping problem was the worst part of this order. I ordered the Morrell double duty target and Amazon shipped me the Morrell Yellow Jacket So I had to repackage the target, print a return label and put the package out for UPS. Amazon sent...

Allan Chadney: Arrows were shot with a Barnett Ghost 410 crossbow at 19 1/2 feet due to in door distance limitation. With each test the same arrow was shot twice and measurements of the protruding nock to target distance taken. Each shot was in an unshot target area. Arrows were shot through a Pro Digital Chronograph set one arrow length in front of the crossbow stirrup.
Test #1: 22" Barnett Head Hunter Carbon Arrow (shaft with field point 430 grain) 400 feet per second. Nock to target distance: 10 5/8", 12 1/2".
Test #2: 22" Easton 2219 (shaft with field point 486 grain) 385 feet per second. This arrow shaft is from the mid 1980-1990's, (pure aluminum) cut to length for this crossbow. Nock to target distance 9 1/4", 9 1/4".
In each instance, the arrow was removed very easily. This Morrell Target (The Bone Collector 400 F.P.S. Target) is for field point only. It is a very well constructed target, shoot able on four sides with each side having a different graphic. There are two handles on the top of the target for carrying (not for hanging).
