KCraine: There's always that one guy...I love this more than I should. 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10. Perfect.

Anonymiss31Anonymiss31: The media could not be loaded. This is the book only and not the entire set.
I made this mistake, now I need to go get the set. I was able to connect d&d Beyond app to the Rick and morty d&d game but there are still things missing like the monster guide, the dm insider, the dice set, the campaign and everything that is needed to play the game. This is just the comic book. It’s still fun to read, but it’s best just to get the set.
However if you are needing a replacement of the original book (that comes in the set.) then this is perfect. Very nicely done and put together. There are some really nice art work at the back that will help players visualize what they are going through/facing.
The bind of the book creased very easily after handling very minimally. You need to bend the pages back a bit to fully read the modifiers on the character sheets. However, you can look them up online to protect the book. Seasonal D&D’ers may find this a bit boring but it’s worth getting into with players you’re easing into the D&D world. I’m using his likeness of Rick and morty to blend into the introduction of D&D.

Bazzness: Heaving never seen any Rick and Morty but knowing some DND I was recommended this by a friend. It was really enjoyable and I would gladly recommended this to a fan of DND or Rick and Morty

Russel McDonald: Holy crow I hope you loooove ad's that's what your getting a giant print ad for d&d. Rick and Morty, though mostly Rick are selling out hard in this mundane "comic" that pretty much is just a big 80s style ad. This comic is only in existence to fill the coffers at wizards of the coast. What ever dragon is gardening that hoard must be huge. The writing is too be expected and the art is sort of just there. If you like d&d and Rick and Morty welcome to flavor country. If you like Rick and Morty but maybe not d&d what the heck are you thinking. If you like comics that are good and in a fantasy setting get savage sword of conan

awakeneddragon: I enjoy the Rick and Morty seasons, and roleplayed through AD&D 2nd edition. I've been tempted by previous comics, and by various board games with Rick and Morty, but none appealed. Then I discovered that there is going to be a roleplaying game released soon - preordered. We'll see how that is, but I took a preview of this comic, and this time took the plunge. I like that it's set at that time when Jerry is not living with the rest, as I'm not a fan of his - as was the intention. I like the progress of the story, the rise and fall of Rick, Jerry, and Summer - who, after Rick, is my favorite. Morty and Beth get their moments. So, the comic feels faithful to the characters I feel I know from the episodes. I'm actually interested in going back now and trying the other comics, just to see if they are this well written. The highlight is that moment Jerry is explaining where he and Rick are different, a well earned moment. As for the D&D side of things, I find the current recasting of all the 2nd edition AD&D stuff into the new iterations funny more than anything. The references to them in the comic brought smiles to my face, because I recall the originals. This medium is...

P M Collins: This was a brilliant read, the cross over into the DnD realm was a great twist, working through the different versions was an amazing idea, a nod to Gygax in Ricks original gaming group, up through to 5th edition, Morty asks what happened to 4th and Ricks answer was just brilliant. "We don't talk about 4th". There were so many nods to other D&D characters, including the animated series stuff. I would love to see this one in the next series of the animated show. It would be a great addition and one to add to the collection. Glad I read this, would recommend if you enjoy R&M and D&D.

PictoPirate: Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons is a fun-packed graphic novel that fits perfectly into the show cannon. It may be written Patrick Rothfuss and Jim Zub instead of the show creators but you wouldn't know as they capture the feel of the show perfectly.
The book is split into four episodes each of which is stands alone well but still feeds into the overall story. It's also wonderfully illustrated with the cameos from D&D hall of famers a particular highlight for me.
You may be wondering if like D&D to enjoy it and to that I'd answer you don't, but it helps. If you're a fan of the show you'll enjoy it regardless but if you're not in to D&D you will miss some references and in jokes.
The best thing about Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons is that it feels just like an episode of the show. Funny, irreverent and packed with some superb illustrations and a smattering of D&D banter it's and well worth a look.

Mr Smith: It’s Rick&Morty and D&D. If you like either, you’ll probably like this graphic novel. If you like both, you’ll probably really like it.
Me? I’ve never really taken any interest in Rick&Morty, but I played D&D since the very first Chainmail/Whitebox through to 3.5 .... and there were enough D&D references to keep me interested. 4* from me, 3* would have felt a bit mean.
I particularly enjoyed the 3rd and 4th parts (the 1st and 2nd not so much) and all the ‘bonus’ illustrations at the end.
