Ian Riley: A great gift for any bird owner; every panel is something that a bird owner (or a friend of one) can relate to. Would make a good kids book as well, fun for all ages.

K. Fischer: This book is top notch for any of you with pet birds! They nail it every time. You'll laugh and think about these things more and more. One of our favorites unfortunately isn't in this book, but we refer to it all the time. The best one so far is the "god's greatest gift of flight to birds" and then the cockatiel has a sign saying "born to climb".

Tom Servo: It's great to finally see "Chicken Thoughts" in book format. These comics are all too relatable if you have a pet bird. The hardcover makes it durable and somewhat (?) protects against nosy beaks. If you've giving to an older person but worried that the text might be too small to read (something I've found with other printed comics) you'll be pleased to note that text is large.
The only criticisms are (1) everybody wants more Chicken! Hopefully there will be future compilations (2) it would have been interesting to have an author profile and how Chicken Thoughts came to be.
Still, a great gift for anyone who is interested in birds.

ProgearStorm: You have to be a bird person to get this. That's reality. You will not know what's going on if you haven't had a bit of experience with our little avian buddies. But if you have? This nails it plus the art is so cute. Basically what your rating would be for this depends on how much you love/have experience with birds. If you've never had them and hate them it will be one star but if you're a bird fan who has had a few this will all be relatable and this will be a book you will treasure.
