The rubber feels good, not a cheaper alternative or anything creates a good seal and the sticky is 3m and helps with a solid install.

We used this to seal the doors around our metal framed deer blinds and it worked unbelievably well. The adhesive backing is very sticky and keeps the seal easily in place allowing you the opportunity to get it secured in place. This was placed between the metal frame & r-panel which we screwed on using self-tapping metal screws. It fit like a glove.
