andrew: Bought these for my Back Up 1500. You have to remove and reattach the green/red stickers from the original battery and put on these batteries. That will keep them in place like OEM APC batteries. Same size as OEM batteries. No issues. Worth the price since you have to do extra work to swap out batteries.

Robert Hudnall: It fit my APC Backups as expected and is working properly. It cost me about half of what I could get a replacement locally. As for longevity I can't say, I've only had it for a couple of weeks but I expect it will be good for a couple of years. I’m pleased with my purchase so far and recommend that you give these batteries a try the next time you need a replacement.

Enough's Enough: This battery is rated at 9AH vs. the normal 7 or 8 AH of the OEM battery. So a longer run time should be expected.

I've always used "generics" like this when refitting my UPS units and generally get at least three years of solid service from them. As this is the first time I've bought particular brand their longevity remains a mystery but based on past experience with generics I have no qualms about buying them.

The batteries are not joined together as are the OEM units. I typically set them on a flat surface and bind them together with packing tape, swap out the connectors and I'm done. It usually takes me about 5 minutes to change them out.

Big_Chungus: Its a battery, actually 2. If you run them in a ups you will need to replace them every 3 or 4 years. Currently best price on amazon. For smart ups 1500 xs you will need some packing tape to hold assembly together.
