Jean Bulthuis: As a traveling musician it is a huge nuisance to bring a music stand when you're traveling just so you can practice in your hotel room and be able to see your music. This teeny lightweight thing can be tucked in a binder or an oversized tablet case and bam! Instant music stand anywhere there is a surface to rest it. Won't take up room in the bag. Won't even feel the weight to schlep it around. I respect that it's plastic and therefore breakable so I wouldn't be shoving it in a suitcase where it could snap, but the swivel mechanics feel stiff so it'll stay at the angle I put it, it has rubber feet so it won't slide, and all over it just seems like a little gadget that will perform really well and significantly impact my travel lifestyle in a super helpful way. Allie S-R: I am a law student and a book stand is a must to help save my neck and back! This stand folds up to be thinner than most of my books and fits in my bag easily, which is a pro especially since my other stand is giant and wooden and does not want to stay flat. It is definitely not as high quality as my wooden one, and the ease of setting the legs to the correct angle is a little ‘sticky’ but for someone who needs a book stand that’s thin and easy to handle, I would still recommend.

Dave, Florida: (1) FEET. Unlike some other models at office supply chains, the rubber feet keep the platform from sliding anywhere, which is great. (I sometimes use atop a lap desk.) (2) ARMS. Also, the wire "arms" are big enough to hold a thick textbook, and firm/springy enough to keep the "shallow" part of the book in place (e.g. when starting a big book). (3) LEGS. Oh and the hinge is firm enough to hold in place without falling. Great, love it!

JN: 薄くて軽いのに安定感もあって良さそうです。
キムラッキの人体ドローイングの様な横長の書籍もぎりぎり安定します。
ただ、ページを押さえるアームの押さえつけが強く書籍を傷めそうです。他のブックスタンドを使ったことがないため比較できませんが、こういうものなんでしょうか。

Quality Inspector: It performs like it should. But when I start out or near the end of a book there are more pages on one side of the book and so I need to hold the few pages with a clothes pin or a bag holder that seals it shut.

ショウ: しっかりした造りで文句なし。たたむと雑誌のような薄さになるので収納しやすいのも◎。ページを押さえるバーも先端がゴムになっているので、本を傷つける心配がいりません。
