AMZN REVIEWER: Initially had problems with my phone bluetooth setup gut got it to work. Very nice and setup on multiple phones, multiple users. I als tried another one but the design of this base is much more sturdy - this had solid base around perimeter and hollow in the middle. others had cross config so narrow fillers made contact with ground and could be easier to flip.

Planned ObsolescencePlanned Obsolescence: This device uses Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis to analyze the body composition of the user. While not particularly accurate, it's useful for gauging changes over time.
BIA has intrinsic limitations that will exist regardless of the price of the device. I don't doubt it's possible for a company to develop proprietary software that is better able to interpret the data, but I have doubts that a $50 scale is significantly better than this one.
Things to look for when buying a smart scale: Does the company have patented hardware? Proprietary data analysis software? Has this technology been proven to be more effective than traditional techniques?
...if the answer is no, then I'd probably use price and app design as the deciding factors when choosing a product. Make sure that the sensors are the right size for your feet; the fact that this company had a scale specifically for small feet is why I bought this product.

FF: Excelente producto. Buena calidad de materiales y muy fácil de conectar al teléfono. Su app muy estable, es una excelente herramienta de referencia para mantener un historial del avance en términos de peso, BMI, porcentaje de grasa, etc. Son varios los parámetros que mide. Si estás buscando una báscula de este tipo, recomiendo comprar esta. Hay algunas que son 200 o 300 pesos más baratas, (de hecho ordené primero una de esas pero la devolví) pero no valen la pena. Compra esta, la recomiendo totalmente.
