Rosemar: I’m pleased with this compact little machine. The machine itself, the manual, the associated USB cord, and even my personal AC adapter fit into the provided carry pouch, making it a concise package for travel.

I’ve compared the measured pulse rate against the pulse rate obtained from my pulse oximeter for both myself and a household member and the measurements match. The blood pressure readings are typical for me, so I can only assume they’re accurate. I don’t currently have another way of comparing results to speak to accuracy.

The display is informative without being too busy. I appreciate the voice option and the ability to turn it off. The screen is a lovely, vibrant blue with large numbers. I also appreciate the ability to record readings for two separate household members.

The cuff is large enough to accommodate an arm with substantial girth, but also appears to work well with my smaller-body frame female arm size.

Another feature I appreciate about this monitor is the power source options—batteries are included and allowed for immediate use. However, the included USB cord allows one to preserve battery life. That’s so handy for being...

RMVRMV: Myself and my family really like all the features of the RENPHO scale so I was looking forward to try the new RENPHO blood pressure machine. The product shipped out pretty quickly to my house...it arrived in a box about 5 times the size of the product (as seen in the picture). I really like how everything it comes with (minus the instruction booklet) fits inside a very compact carrying case (as shown in picture). Funny though when I first used the kit, I placed the kit back into its box and it was such a snug fit that the machine turned on and started measuring process from inside the box. I like that the monitor can be powered on with either batteries or a usb cord (both included with kit). Set up was pretty straight forward with use of the booklet. The only thing that was annoying was setting the date...there’s no up and down scrolling option. For example I was trying to set the “20th” on the monitor but if you scroll too far you have to scroll through all the numbers till the 20th comes up again (I ended up having to scroll two times through). Other than that set up was pretty easy.

Delivery:
Although this was a free sample, I ordered the product through Amazon and being a Prime customer, we received it the next day. Standard you might say for Prime delivery, but due to the pandemic and the general state of the world, this isn’t always the case these days, so top marks there.

Packaging:
The blood pressure monitor came packaged in a Renpho box in which was a little carry case that everything can be kept in. Well, everything except the user manual. It would have been handy if the user manual fitted inside as well and I must admit the cuff, air hose and device itself are a bit of a tight squeeze but otherwise it’s nicely packaged.

Ease of use:
When I opened this I first went to the user manual in an attempt to find out a bit more on the product and how it works. Despite my best intentions, I was thwarted by an excitable three year old who was insistent it was a phone and kept asking why it was talking to him. Even so, with little more than a cursory glance at the user manual and a captive audience of one, I was able to strap the cuff on and get the blood pressure monitor to work...

Alex: Renpho blood pressure monitor - excellent value

This is a professional looking piece of kit which comes nicely stored in neat durable looking zipped black pouch with little carry handle. It measures 26cm x 10cm x 6cm or 6 inches x 4 inches x 2.5 inches approx. Very neat. I have taken my blood pressure and it is a close enough match for having had it taken recently by a medical professional. I like the reassurance of having this to hand particularly for an elderly relative.

The instruction booklet is detailed yet clear and easy to follow. Shows how to set up date and time display as readings are stored. It explains on how to correctly take blood pressure and has a chart showing optimum blood pressure and standard blood pressure classifications which is useful. It also briefly explains systolic and diastolic pressure.

The monitor has a dual power supply either usb lead which is supplied or battery operated. A nice touch is the monitor needs 4 x AAA batteries and these are supplied.

Jennifer S: The media could not be loaded.  One of the most important qualities of a blood pressure monitor is that it doesn’t squeeze my arm so tight that I am in pain. It is surprising how this seems to be an issue with so many blood pressure devices on the market. My previous blood pressure device squeezed my arm so tight that I was in pain for most of the measurement and it left permanent marks on my arm that took at least a day to heal. I am happy to say that this one will give you a mostly pain-free blood pressure measuring experience. For me, the last few seconds, when it is about to finish taking the measurement is somewhat painful/uncomfortable, but this is much better than many of the products on the market! Plus, it tells you (via audio) your blood pressure.

Pros:
- Mostly pain-free blood pressure measuring experience (see above)
- Accurate measurements
- Clearly indicates which blood pressure zone you are in (red, orange, yellow, green bar printed on the device)
- Clear voice reads the numbers to you
