Amazon Customer: This unit works quite well. I’m able to wrap it around my arm, take my readings and sync with my iPhone in less than a minute. I can’t comment on the accuracy since I haven’t compared the values against a calibrated professions model yet.

After researching a number of models on the internet, this one had a decent review. Note, there was one review that mentioned you had to pay a monthly subscription. That was misleading. You can upgrade to a monthly subscription if you need additional features. Since I don’t need those additional features, the update isn’t necessary.

After 2 months of semi-daily use, I have no regrets with this purchase

Stella Trout: This is a dependable cuff which records your pressure so you don’t need to track in a notebook. The app works seamlessly for me it feeds the data into Apple Health, making it even more useful for me. I love that it is battery-powered making it more versatile and no cord.

M. Cross: This seemed like a very good quality blood pressure machine. Came with clear set up instructions, well packaged, and with a nice storage bag. However, after reading through the booklet and calling the company’s customer service, I was told it cannot be used with a pacemaker as the readings will be inaccurate. Item returned.

Diana: My BP monitor came day before yesterday. The first several times I used it, the monitor neither remembered previous readings, nor sent current readings to the Omron app via Bluetooth, and I was ready to return the monitor. Suddenly that all changed, and it began to work as it should. I've used the monitor several times since, without a hitch. Do these monitors need a start-up as mine appeared to? I don't know. For now, it appears to work perfectly. I'll edit this review in a month or so.

The monitor's display is easy to read, as is the app. The app also has space to write short notes with readings. BP values are colour coded, making it easy to see if the BP is normal, or otherwise. I have an intermittent, non-threatening, irregular heart beat; if detected during a reading, it's recorded. With the reading, the app includes a double heart to show the irregularity. The monitor can't determine what caused the irregularity, only that it's present.

In Playstore, it states that in-app purchases cost $4.99 - $174.99. I found nothing that would cost only $4.99; however, Premium costs $12.99 per month ($174.99 annually). I can't see that Premium is necessary.

Pros:
I was impressed by the features, accuracy and reputation of this brand. It works well and is a well built and quality product.
It works well and keeps a record of readings and even will display an "average for the week" reading!
Cons:
Only one; It has NO backlight feature!

VpGx: Easy to setup and use. Phone bluetooth connection sets up easily and always works. Very happy with this unit.
