Renpho Blood Pressure Monitor: Accurately Monitor Your Blood Pressure at Home with Alarm Clock Feature.

Nicole: The media could not be loaded.  My mother and I have been using this machine for the past few weeks and we love it! It is smaller than I thought but that's a good thing. Even though it's on the smaller side, it has a large display that I can clearly see even without wearing my glasses. The smaller compact size makes it easy to just leave out on a table for quick access and doesn't take up too much space when storing it. My favorite feature of it is that it speaks out your reading to you and even tells you if it's optimal, normal, severe or anything in between (according to the World Health Org). It will even notify you if it detects an irregular heartbeat. You can control the volume of the speaker or turn that feature off as well. I usually struggle with BP arm cuffs at my doctor's office or with other at home BP cuffs. They would cause bruising because they would squeeze my arm too tightly and bruise it or just pop off when inflating because they were not big enough. But not this one! Morgan Simmons: THis is a pretty nice Blood Pressure monitor from Renpho. I've been very pleased with the company since getting their smart scale, and this BPM is the same quality. The unit has very large, readable, and backlit screen. It also has voice prompts that tell you what to do, and what the machine is doing. The base is nice and study with rubberized feet to keep it from sliding on the table. It also have the capability of storing 2 users data, and a reminder alarm, perfect for the elderly.

The only negative with this unit - which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that for such a great unit that is catering to the elderly with its large display, has a manual with the tiniest print. You have to use the manual to figure out how to change the volume on the machine (it comes out of the box screaming) as well as setting the alarm.
If they fix that, this would clearly be a 5 star product. If you are young, buy this with confidence. IF you are elderly, make sure you have someone with better eyesight to help you get through setting an alarm and changing the volume

CaNoCaNo: First of all, yes I may be guilty of dehydration, over caffenination, and eating salty foods. All factors that affect Blood Pressure. I do try and exercise at least 4 times a week though, so I can say I'm fairly healthy for the most part. During working hours and when I exercise, I do lug around an 85oz water jug to offset my bad habits stated above. Now with that being said, I know that my blood pressure should be around the normal ranges, or at least close to it.

I mention that because when I took this product out of its package (without reading the instructions) I had received a range of results which scared me into thinking that something was wrong with my body! I had provided 3 pictures in this review as reference. My first BP test was using my right arm, standing up and with my arms to my sides. My result was 127/85. Not too shabby, but the machine did tell me that was still over what the WHO (World Health Organization) says is normal. Noted.

My second test was sitting down, with my legs crossed (out of habit) with my arms hanging down in a relaxed state and the wire not visible in front of me. My result was 144/128. This scared me! But being a Medical...
