Renewed KitchenAid KFC3516CU 3.5 Cup Mini Food Processor

Raffone: once you've purchased enough refurbished things, you know you're taking a chance. Its a small chance that you get something defective, becomes defective too soon, or just not worth the money, it really is a small chance. After I did the math on it, I got one of these refurbished food processors. The KitchenAid KFC3516ER is perfect. I use it quite a bit and its easy to clean and reassemble, the blades are in good positions to get things done and cleans easier than many food processors. I wouldn't know this was a refurbished product if I wasn't told.

AA: I purchased this item a few months ago after watching a review on YouTube. The machine requites to be set up in a particular way for it to work. The led is also the start button, while it sounds like a smart way, it's completely the opposite, in my opinion.

The cup, the blades, and then the led need to be aligned in a particular way. Yet they can fit all in multiple ways and I found no indications or marking to tell you which way is the correct one. The components will fit in multiple ways. As it NEVER starts, it's up to you to figure out which part is not aligned. I have tried to use it 4-5 times, and each time it took a good 20-30 minutes before it started. Eventually, I decided to simply thought it in the garbage. I did not think it's worth even donating.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!

Amazon Customer: this little choppy is small but mighty. Love it to pieces.. this is why .. easy to use, easy to clean, its small it fits in a normal kitchen, sometimes I chop my onion and garlic and make a quick salsa, or a basil pesto to ad to a fish meal.
Most people want the big ones but this little guy does everything I need and it suits me. If I ever do have a large amount i just chop in sections. My daughter made ham salad and it came out just likeour grandma.. IT MAKES SUCH A NICE HOUSE WARMING GIFT .. we made ham salad with boiled egg and mayo mustard and relish on lettucee added into a pretzel bun so good..DELISHIOSO WE PUT BUTTER WITH SPICES AD THE WE PUT THE COMON UNDER THE CHICKEN SKINBUT WE GRIND IN THIS LITTLE GRINDER... LOVE THAT TING.

PK: KA has taken a dump in all but its most expensive PROFESSIONAL line products. This was a refurbished model. Works fine and despite KA $ cost cuts, (this one <$35) they made this an attractive, solid, small, multi-purpose food processor. Read the instructions on line. It foams milk for cafes really well. Getting the cup, blade and top aligned takes some repetition. Then it is easy. Dish washer safe. Easy to clean. AMAZON should change the general ratings to : Easy to use, Quality, product color matches picture....then it would be 4-4-4 for the low $$.

Susanna: Works great-powerful food processor, chops and purées quickly. I love how it only has two easy settings. Great value for the money. I use it to make homemade salsa and other types of sauces and pesto. Pretty, retro mint green color!
