Calvin: I wanted to make falafels and looked around at the best food processors for the job.

I really was drawn to this product because of the side scraping, I want a tool to be thoughtfully useful in its utility. In that it does everything I need it to do, it's also really easy to clean. The blades are incredibly sharp so being slow while cleaning is required or you'll cut your hands. The only thing I'm not too fond of, is the main stem of the product that spins the blades, it's attached to the machine and gets dirty easily.

Though that's only a little concern, in my several uses, I highly recommended the product.

Watusi in Wahatchoo: I don't like lugging a food processor out from the cupboard when I need it, and I don't like washing it. This processor is acceptable in those areas (I use a brush to wash it). I burned out the motor after 10 months by loading it up with 1.5 pounds of ground beef -- twice the maximum listed amount. It pays to read the instruction booklet, at least to note those limits. I bought a Cuisinart as a replacement.

Travis gover: Good item. I love this item this is my 2nd one I dropped and broke my first one moving 2 weeks ago so had to get another one. I can't say enough how much I use this either to blend my fruit smoothie or shreed cheese or just blend my tomatoes for sauce. It works great every time and has never given me any issue.

Soulwinds: I bought (on sale) this mostly for the spiraling feature and quickly realized you have to buy zucchini of a certain size and feed it in as straight as possible to make it work. And that is fine. Trial and error! haven't been able to spiral a carrot successfully yet. BUT it's great for thin slices and chopping things.
It doesn't chop all the way and you get a little extra that tends to just spin around the top between the lid and the blade. But for chopping a cucumber in 10 seconds, I'll take it! I just snack on the extra vegetable pieces... It's AWESOME for shredding cheese. Just make sure you follow the instructions and chill the cheese in the freezer the appropriate amount of time so it doesn't just tear into chunks and smear around the top of the blender instead of being cut.
It is a pain to clean the blades and the device that pushes the veggies down the shoot. But it's not too bad if you do it immediately after using it. Invest in toothpicks. lol
