Dolleah: At first I liked my food processor, but then it decided to die on me after one year of use. It was not overused. I occasionally used it before, but now that I am on a plant based diet and need it more than ever, it died. I had to use my little tiny chopper in order to get my meal prep done. Very disappointed.

Kishore: It does the job for Juices and Dough mixing.
But coming to cleaning, Jar is so delicate, It may break if accidentally drops on hard floor.
And you need to careful while cleaning or putting blades/scissors back, they are so super sharp.
Overall, It's OK but daily usage will be different considering delicate Jar. Need something sturdy and strong.

crackerssouthcrackerssouth: I have no fear of a kid hurting themself with this machine. There are 3 safety features that have be set before it will run. The bowl has to be locked in, the lid has to be locked on and the feeder tool has to be inserted and push down. I wanted to make an apple brown Betty, chopping the bread worked really well as was slicing the apples, very impressive. No time at all. Cleaning the bowl was a snap, the lid was a different story, maybe something Oster could remedy. There is a ridge in the lid that sits on the bowl. Pieces of food seem to get stuck in it making it a little difficult to clean, but an old toothbrush works to dislodge it. I believe that was also mentioned by a previous reviewer. Lost 1 star for that. BONUS: all the parts fit into the bowl so you won’t be losing them. This unit is tall, 16” when assembled. When you are making dough you make sure you are holding on to this sucker, it jumps and bounces around more than a herd of wild horses. If you're not paying attention, you could find it on the floor. Update: So far I have made dough twice for pizza and this processor is just a pain to clean. Dough gets stuck everywhere inside the bowl, inside the parts, and all...

NLT of NM: I have been thrilled with this purchase since the first week! I've almost forgotten all the recipes that are so much easier with this appliance. I really like Oster appliances - as long as you get the right one. I make pizza once a week, little less in the summer. The part I liked least about pizza night is chopping the veggies. I prebake my crust, because I like them thick, but not doughy. While the dough is baking in my 12" Lodge cast iron skillet, I chop the vegetables, shred the cheese, and have even made fresh tomato-basil sauce in this food processor. Sauce with fresh and flavorful tomatoes are better than anything store-bought by at least seven-fold. I make the dough from scratch, so the sauce is the one thing I could never take pride in before. You can even make creamy cheese sauce in this processor if you want a change from the common tomato-based sauce.

I've also used this processor for shredding carrots and slicing vegetables for other recipes. Making biscuits - done that too. I also make a lot of salsa, very hot and spicy that is devoured quickly.

Creamy recipes are whipped up even faster than cookie doughs and I never get bored of experimenting with new...
