Relax in Comfort with a Convertible Lounge Futon Sofa Bed

Sam Rosenthal: This couch is small. I look at it and think, "Honey, what happened to the couch?" The previous one I bought here on Amazon was 70"x42" when opened as a bed. This one is 69"x36". The previous couch, when folded, had a seat of 21.5" deep and the back was 19" tall. This one has a seat of 18" and a 17" tall back.

You'd think those couple of inches wouldn't make a big difference, but they do. The couch looks minature. I can sit on it and rest my arm on the back. Which used to not be the case. Speaking of the top of the back, the old one was wide enough for my kitty to sit on it (about 5"). The new one is about 3".

With all that griping griped, THE PROS: The couch's comfort is fine. It seems quite sturdy. The feet were really easy to put on.

Just saying that if you need a BIG COUCH, this is not it.

salaam tyreksalaam tyrek: This is as basic of a couch as you can get. Its easy to assemble, and all you need to do is screw in the wooden legs(which are in a hidden zipper compartment). The screws on the legs were extremely rusty which made it a lil difficult to screw in. It was well packaged and looks just as pictured. I included lots of images.
I am a lil over 6ft tall and ~145lbs. It is very low to the ground, but its just a lounger, not a full blown couch. I wouldn't sit on this all day, my legs would start to cramp up or fall asleep. It feels best to just stretch my legs out. Since it's so low, my knees are above my hips.
A lot of these small sofas on amazon have the issue of one side sitting further back than the other, due to the locking mechanism being on one side, but this is not one of them. It feels sturdy n balanced.

Something to Note – First: Please be sure you want it before you buy it. It might ship free with prime, but you can not return it with prime. It cost a whopping $100 just to send it back. Second: DO NOT waste your money on that All State Insurance. Their logo is two hands cause they just want you to hand them your money. Their ad should be "All State, put your money...

4n144n14: I really like this futon. I bought it for my in home office to use for quick naps here and there. Its faux leather but it feels very sturdy like it will last a long time - its textured and doesn't feel cheap. The legs came packed in a box stored in a built in compartment inside the body of the futon which was cool. Its a zippered compartment in the back of the futon. The legs are sturdy wood and all you have to do is screw them in and your done with assembly, just a few minutes time. The only con is that I wish the legs were taller as the futon is very low to the ground. I'm 5ft tall and its not that big of a deal for me, but my husband is about 6'2 so it wouldn't be idea for him to sit down on. If the company sold taller screw in legs, I would happily buy them.

To use the futon to lay down, all you have to do is push the back forward and you can hear it click a few times and you will release the mechanism that will let it recline flat.

Very easy to use overall and a stylish compliment to any room in my opinion.

LadyPandiLadyPandi: OK this is a great thing. It came in a big flat box, had to have my son carry it up the stairs for me (its heavy!) but once I got it open, it was the easiest piece of furniture to assemble, EVER.
At first I thought they forgot to pack the legs. But in the bottom of the couch there is a zipper pocket, inside that was the box with the 4 legs in it, and that's all there is to it! you screw the legs in, place it. Done!
It reclines easily, just pull it forward and it clicks into place, do it again and it goes back to a reclined position, once more and it lays flat. It's really solid. Very well made.
My only complaint, is it needs more cushion to be comfortable to lie down on, But it is perfect for sitting around watching TV or just hanging out. I think it would be absolutely perfect with an air mattress on it, to use as a bed for company. Nontheless, very pleased with the purchase, my son and his wife love it when they come to visit. He thinks it's very cool to recline it after dinner.

NicolaeNicolae: I'm sure it's my mistake on the size but it IS smaller than I expected.😅
It'll be a good fit for sleeping on occasionally and great size for my two 9 year olds to be able to relax on.

As you can see from the picture my 9 year old daughter is sitting comfortably on it, and it's shorter than my Huskies kennel. Very easy to put together, just screw the legs on and pop it up. I think this will be a nice addition to our living room. All in all a decent 'little's futon.

Also, when laid flat I believe the measurements to be the size of a twin sized mattress, and it is low to the ground. So if you are long legged and tall this isn't the futon for you. Thankfully I'm very short and so are my 9 year olds. The legs come in a zippered spot on the back of the futon.
