Marlene Everett: I got the pink with polka-dots. My dog weighs 5 lbs. On our first kayaking venture she decided to try it out by "chasing" a great blue heron. She swam right back to the boat and was easily lifted by the handle back into the boat. She wears a harness normally when we're out and about. She didn't seem to mind the life vest at all.

Maddii: The life jacket fit my little dog great (15 pounds) he floated well in it and the Handle was strong enough to lift him out of the water without any breaks. I definitely recommend this life jacket only down side is there no chin floatation piece to keep him from dunking his mouth in the water.

Ashley Slay: The Velcro is great and the size is spot on but the clips are cheap plastic so one broke within 3 months. My pup only used it 3-4 times. Everything else is really good.

Unfortunately I opened it to find the stitching on the neck velcro sub par and half the velcro already coming apart and half off. Super disappointed because the fit was right and we are leaving for camping soon so no time to return.

Amazon4Me: Fits Great! My dog is always between sizes M and L because she has a very deep chest and skinny waist, so it's very hard to find things that fit her well. I went by the measurements in the chart, and the vest fit well. This vest has a full underbelly panel with velcro closure. The buckles underneath close over the velcro panels, so it's easy to put it on, shape it to her body with the velcro closures, then clip her in. I got her the Large and it fits very snugly, so I can pick her up with the handle and she doesn't slide out of it. The flotation panels are thinner and not bulky. It is very comfortable for her, perfect to wear for safety when we are kyaking. My dog doesn't care for swimming, and we are not planning to let her fall off the boat, but she can wear this comfortably all day just in case
