misty r.misty r.: I got this after saving Booger from the deep end of the pool one day...he's kinda chunky and his stamina isn't what it used to be. The stoked look on his face the 1st time he tried it out was priceless! The back straps/handles make it a helluva lot easier to get him back onto the kayak when he goes for a dip (or falls in) and we both feel a lot more secure in the water.

Amazon Customer: This preserver fit my dog well and he had no problem getting used to it. It is very secure. We pulled my dog onto the paddleboard by the back handles a couple of times. The velcro and clips were all secure even after hours in the water. My doggo is a proficient swimmer but we got this to help when he gets tired or on choppy water. I am very happy with this purchase.

Revant verma: My pup is 24 pounds so I got the small according to the size chart. It was ok, but I will return and get the medium. The velcro around the body could seal, but the velcro around the neck kept coming undone. Good thing there were buckles to secure the jacket.

HannahHannah: This life jacket is a good deal for the price considering many are twice this much. I love the green color. I purchased a medium for $15 and I’m mostly satisfied. I read through a ton of reviews to make sure I ordered the right size but it’s still off—it’s too small. Here’s why…
My dog is 43lbs. So based on weight I could have gone with the medium or large based on the chart. From reading other reviews with dogs around Maxwell’s size medium seemed best. But I knew measuring chest size was important so I did. His chest at the widest is exactly 26”. And the medium is supposed to cover that. But the Velcro will not fasten. As you can see from my photos, the tip of both ends of the Velcro just hit 26”. So there’s not enough room for it to come together and fasten around my boy. The buckle straps fit fine but those alone are not secure enough without the Velcro fastened. Now, if there was an added strip of Velcro where I marked in the other photo, problem solved.
Since the life jacket seems a good size otherwise I’m afraid a large would swallow him. So I’m just going to add a piece of Velcro at the end and that should do the trick. The only other...
