hcubed: The suction is really good, however the clip (to lock into place) is very difficult to close in order to lock the suction. I had to move it for better positioning and you can tell the type of plastic used is brittle and not made to last. A couple more times of repositioning and I won't be at all surprised when it snaps off. I am just glad that it was a 2 pack; the 2nd one is likely going to end up as a back up for when the 1st one ultimately breaks.

Jeff S.: The product, service and delivery was excellent. My only suggestion would be to make it clearer that there are actually 2 handles in the box. Maybe it was me but I ended up ordering 2 units which was double what I needed. Unfortunately they don't attach to a painted wall but they do work well on tiled surfaces

Ra-ra: Love this product to assist people in and out of the shower/ bathtub. I've bought two and given to two different people to assist them, it helps both people feel more confident in getting in and out of the tub. Because they only suction to the wall and aren't drilled in, I would not rely on grabbing for them if person was falling. More so a stability product, which its great for.

Going to slip and fall and I won’t be able to pick him up so I ordered these suction cup handlebars thinking it was an ideal solution when I opened the package I was impressed with the sturdiness of the product and a large suction cup surface area. it was easy to install and it held tight for a short time but that was it. I cannot begin to describe the degree of disappointment I had when I heard a commotion in the bathroom and upon checking it out I saw the handlebars on the floor. they did not maintain their suction power. this didn’t happen just once but multiple times. I tried different techniques of application-I wet the back of the suction cups, I dried the back of the suction cups, I pushed hard on the suction cups all this was in vain. aargh I knew it was too good to be true. maybe someone else will have better luck than me. in the meantime I cross my fingers that my husband doesn’t fall.

Paul: I had purchased two of these for my 85 your old mother to use in a brand new shower I even made sure the suction areas were clean with rubbing alcohol and the tile is completely smooth but they never stayed on I would always find at least one side of them popped off after a few days of use I have an older handle that I was using before I bought these I put it back in because I did not trust the new ones to work correctly the old one I had had thicker plastic and larger suction cups I would look for one that was better made then this one.
