Sarah: I got hooked on SAF instant yeast when one of my friends revealed it as the secret to her bread always rising sky-high. Once I tried it out, I’ve never bought any other kind of yeast - I’m not willing to risk a bad result, and SAF is incredibly reliable for perfectly risen results every time. Store it in the freezer for longevity (it’s a BIG bag). Baked goods taste fantastic and compared to single packets at the store.

Kindle Customer: I've used SAF yeast for decades. It always does the job, and the bread rises well. I ordered it in October, 2023, and the expiration date was 07/2025, so I have almost two years to use it. Recommended.

EETEET: I used to buy Fleischmann's active yeast, until I took a bread baking class at Johnson & Wales University. The staff there used SAF instant and I started buying it myself. I initially had to go to Restaurant Depot or other supply stores to buy it, but then found it on Amazon.
You don't need to mess around with proofing your yeast when baking--just throw it in and mix your dough. I make bread and pizza dough several times a week, and this size lasts a long time.
I have never had any problems with the rise in my doughs and just don't worry about it. There is a reason professionals choose this yeast, and I am very glad they told me to buy it too!
