Don n Julie: I actually bought this for some knee exercises- and it works well. I also use it for gardening. The pad is almost 2 inches thick and if you remove the cut out on the side- you can carry it and the empty space is where you can put your fingers in- to carry, but I don't think it is necessary. I just kept the cut out in there- it is very light and as I will- use it for many different uses.

LB: Just the right size and support when I have my desk in the "standing" position. Very well made and durable. I wanted something a little thicker than the standard garden kneeling pad to rest my feet on while sitting at my desk and enough cushion and support while standing. This pad is just right for both uses and I'm thrilled to have found it. My feet are happy.

Miller: I just got into gardening during COVID, so I didn't know there were neat little things like this - now I can keep my knees clean, and it feels MUCH better than kneeling on the ground, especially on course mulch. The cut-out handle makes it easy to pick up and hang in a garden shed. The pink is a fun color!
