Oberst Steiner: It works flawlessly against mosquitoes, I haven’t tried it with flies or other insects.
Great that it doesn’t need batteries, just recharge it with the included usb cable. I recommend it.

J. Manser: While it zaps mosquitos and flies and kills them instantly, wasps are a different beast. I’m usually able to zap a wasp, but if I don’t hit it downward onto the ground where I’m able to re-zap it again (and again), they’re hardly even phased by it. But…it does at least give me the upper hand on them. That’s why I purchased a second one (after I accidentally ruined my first one by leaving it out in multiple rainstorms). And if I screw up and do that again, I’ll buy a third.

Amazon Customer: I have had products like this before and the batteries wouldn’t last long, or worse, there wasn’t enough juice to kill the fly and it stares at you in a “you’re going down” kind of way.
This zapper is different. One, it has a large switch on the side that when moved to the on position, a flashlight pops on. So now you can stand in the dark and let those puppies fly right into your death trap.

Caitlyn Davey: Works great so far! Picked this one because it’s rechargeable & the design is a little less ugly than other brands, imho. The zap-crackle isn’t as loud as I thought it would be from previous games reviews. Very satisfying to zap the mosquitoes while being able to avoid the fireflies and other beneficial bugs. My tween especially enjoys this. Was hesitant to want to kill any bugs, but I think we can all agree, mosquitoes are the worst and need to die.
