Web MentormanWeb Mentorman: I use this in my van and it works great. I have mosquito netting but I swear the minute I crack the opening of the net a hundred no-seems come inside and are just buzzing around. I turn off all the lights and set this unit by my door. In the morning there is a huge pile of dead bugs so clearly it is working and I sleep well through the night not bothered by bugs. I recharge it during the day with my solar panels and it is ready again the next evening. I'm going to knock one star off though because cleaning is hard even with the tiny little brush they give you. It would be better if you could unscrew the cage and pull the coil out. As it is you have to be careful not to bend the wires when cleaning carcasses that are fried to the wires LoL. Still this thing is a godsend. Highly recommend!

Update 220827: FINALLY, using it in a different location indoors, TWO mosquitoes and 12 other bugs! It's good to know this thing actually works; I had almost returned it.

Update 220822: Upgraded to 4 stars. Although I have NEVER heard it zap, and it has NEVER caught a mosquito, it catches about 3 drain flies, a micro moth and a few flea beetles (which it stuns, not kills) fairly regularly.

I have plenty of mosquitoes in my house that bother me at night, and that's why I bought this thing. NIGHT 1: it caught ONE very small moth.

The poor performance of this unit may be due to a combination of factors:
① The experts say mosquitoes are not attracted to light.
② The unit is underpowered, stunning only.
③ Mosquitos find the narrow spacing of the safety ribs offputting.
④ The unit is positioned too far off the floor.
⑤ The room is not dark enough.
⑥ The LEDs are the wrong color or intensity.
⑦ Additional chemical attractant is needed.
⑧ One dead insect stuck to the grid shorts out the...
