StevieQ: I bought this gel cell lead acid battery to replace my alarm system's backup battery. I debated whether to buy a higher-capacity lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery instead, but ultimately my concern over the potential fire hazard of lithium iron phosphate batteries led me to stick with the tried and true gel cell lead acid battery. Regardless of the marketing claim and assurance by lithium iron phosphate battery sellers that it'd be safe to substitute a LiFePO4 battery on an alarm system designed to work with lead acid batteries, I did not want to take the words of these sellers and risk causing a fire.

Bob Koure: We unfortunately have one of those FIOS ONT (optical network termination) boxes that has a built in battery for phone-only service during power outage. When the battery fails, the box beeps annoyingly. Removing the battery does not stop the beeping.
Verizon caught on that having integral battery backup for residential service was a dumb idea - but long after ours was installed. If you have the same ONT as we do (later models stop beeping if you just take the battery out, still later models had no battery at all) this will do the job. I am NOT depending on it for phone service (commercial-grade UPS between ONT and mains) so I do not care how long the battery will last with power out - just how many years before the beeping starts again.

R. Ryan: Needed this as a replacement for a 15,000,000 candlepower light. Came quickly fully charged and was a direct replacement. Tabs on top are 3/16 inch wide, the size I needed. Some are 1/4 inch wide for other applications. A good price including shipping. Recommend.

To replace the battery all you have to do is unscrew the Phillips screws even the Phillips screw that holds the bottom big light there are no nuts just a bunch of screws to undo

We would recommend this battery for the replacement it worked for us we hope this helps others thank you

Definitely works great this is an update for the battery for the CelesteTron power tank placement which we used for the telescopes hundred percent we recommend this product it's working great
