Cindy Acton: This is a fantastic way to teach children the power of kindness in the face of adversity. There is so much bullying going on in and out of school these days and this hits home the message of turning a bad situation into good.

A.: I am working with a 3 year old horse for the first time. This book has lots of useful ideas that I have been able to put into action. Particularly, getting him used to touch, haltering gracefully, yielding the front and hindquarters, lunging, and backing off a rope wiggle.

Allen Arrington: I got the ring bound version so I can have the book close by and open to the specific page for reference and guidance while doing the training exercises.
For beginners and old-timers alike, this book has instructions and fresh ideas.
I highly recommend this for anyone who loves horses and wants to improve their working relationships.

Minerva: The exercises are very clearly set out, along with the rationale and techniques to use. I have young horses and this has been very helpful. The size and binding of the book are a little awkward, though I understand the idea may have been to make this a book that you can literally carry out with you to the round yard.

jojo5: This is an easy to follow set of ground work exercises for working with young, mismanaged or puzzled horses including long-reining and lunging, and with a slight Western influence. Plenty of clear illustrations, and lots of ideas for when you know you need to do more ground work but you and your horse are bored with the usual stuff. Mine will end up with a Masters in ground work!!!

Lena: Binding is at the top, seems more like a pin up then a book, not bad. Quite a few basic things like how to halter and bridle. Decent information
Very very fast delivery

Gwynne C. Spencer: Good info but more pictures would benefit the reader. This weaves between a green horse or green handler. Difficult to determine which the exercise targeted.
