L.A.D.: I've read a lot of books about chickens lately and this one is my favorite. One thing I like is that you don't have to read it in order, you can jump around. It makes a wonderful bathroom book. But best of all, I learned many things I didn't know about chicken culture and language. Yes, chickens have a culture!

Shayley A Sullivan: Didn't know how cool chickens were until I read this book! It's filled with fascinating facts along with fun personal stories. After reading this book it only endeared me more to my neighbors flock of chickens. It taught me valuable information regarding the type of treats I can give them to what the heck they're talking about with all the different sounds they make when I'm around them. Definitely worth adding to your collection even if you don't have any chickens.

Jason: Book is a great read for first time chicken owners or those whom wish to know a little mote about their feathered friends. Only covers a few sounds that chickens make, wont turn you into a chicken though. A good book anyway.
