Amazon User: I really enjoyed reading this book.

Nick: Well,Well, well. Depends on which side you stand on, you either will love it or hate it...or maybe on some exceptional occasion you will awake out of the trance of weaponized atheism

Amazon Customer: I bought this book so I would know better how to talk to atheists. It was so interesting, informative, and even humorous that it was hard to put down. It is a valuable resource for every Christian to strengthen their own faith, with much evidence, and also for the atheist.

Questant: This is not a bashing of people who proclaim to be Atheists. In fact, although Mr.Comfort does not mince words or peek around the bush, he does treat those who do not believe with a loving gentleness...not trying to force anything down anyone's throat, but presenting the existence of God in a way that is rich in descriptions (Bananas, apples, oranges, the brain and eyes, just for examples) and understandable. His ability to ask questions that inspire (and often require) thinking beyond the norm or even the expected is truly a gift. Thinking people ask questions and then search for answers...discernment is lacking these days and this book helps one to want more of it. Another good book for a group study that includes lots of time for thinking and discussion.

Christian D Otto: I was given this book 18 years ago. I had been, like many out there, trusting that since I thought overall I was a pretty good person of course I was going to heaven. Over the course of this book through the ten commandments I saw the reality of my sin and need for a savior. I wasn't in a church and didn't know exactly what to do so I just cried out to God, asked for His forgiveness and gave Him my life. He gave me a new heart, new desires and set me free. God then put the right people and church in my path. I have been living and growing in Him for many years and am so thankful for this book. I give this book to everyone.

The Rebecca Review: This book has been on the market for over twenty years and yet I only heard about it recently. I'd expect it would have thousands of reviews. If there is one book atheists should read it should be this one. I found the arguments to be logical and convincing.

I like that the author explains that even atheists have faith, just in different things like evolution. Ray Comfort has a sense of wonder about creation and briefly mentions irreducible complexity.

Some of this book mentions sad realities, other parts are lol funny and a lot of the information in this book will make you think more deeply about life and eternity.

What you have to ask yourself is why are atheists so angry about someone telling them how to escape eternal damnation? I'm happy someone told me. So while you may find yourself laughing in places while you read you may also find yourself startled by truth.

Since I talk to atheists at the amazon forums the title of this book amused me. I believe God has a sense of humor. Give this book to all your atheist friends. I'm sending my copy out in the mail immediately.

Ken r Bergstrom: I chose this book rating because I felt the author did an admirable job developing his subject.
I liked his style of writing, his examples used and his respect with those for those who do not share his views..
I would recommend this book to anyone who has an open mind when searching for truth.

Tommi: I only bought this the other day. Read through to page 40 and I simply have to come and write this review!

This is a superb book. It's comedy gold. Its Ray Comfort and any self respecting atheist will know the name and know what they are in for. Comfort dosnt dissapoint.
All i need do here is mention some of the howlers and you will see how much you will enjoy this book.

"thousands of children die each day: Does god not exist or is he a tyrant. The bible tells us another answer"
"All you hae to do is be REASONABLE and then I can REASON with you.
"Is Space infinate..There isnt a brick wall there so god lives outside time"
"A Coke can dosnt just explode out of nothing on a spinning rock! How can Atheists think such nonsense?"

And I know you have waited for it....

"The Banana is perfectly shaped for the human hand...Peas line up in order of size. the Orange has a tasty drink held in a waterproof container!"

Yes Ray. Because it dosnt have a leaky container- or it wouldnd hold the Freaking DRINK you ..you....LMAO

There is one problem with this book. Buying it will give Comfort some money, and make him think he is important rather...

C. Thompson: I don't what that reviewer David Ericson meant.
I think the book is very well written. It is logical and coherent and, as the cover says, at times humorous.
The evidence is also good, lots of scientific and apologetic evidence for a designer and for the fact that everyone believes in some things by faith. There were two pieces of evidence when I could hear the evolutionist in my head saying "Well natural selection could do that just as well." But such thoughts are missing the point. The point is that these things make much more sense from the point of view that they were designed and Ray Comfort presents good evidence against natural selection in other places in the book.
Ray Comfort isn't in a strict debate mode for the majority of the book, he talks like a human being, not a computer. And that makes things much more relate-able and readable. I suspect that's why David accused him of making fallacies. Ray isn't sharing strictly evidence with this book, the evidence is mixed in with his faith beliefs and his motives for sharing it in the first place. But the evidence is there, and would easily stand up in debate if it were presented separately.
