Kay: Started using this in October 2020, connected to a laptop mostly used as a desktop replacement. The DisplayPort connector wasn't very stable, as a slight bump to it would cause the monitor to disconnect and require the cable to be replugged. Now the monitor flickers with this cable, which doesn't happen when connected via an HDMI cable.

Mehtaj saad: Cable has started flickering and needs to be replaced. Got 2 solid years out of it it, though. I think the USB-C end is worn out after being plugged into my laptop at a slightly bent angle

S. Connelly: Excellent cable! Works well for connecting my 32" monitor to my MacBook pro. So good I bought a second one when I duplicated my office setup at home. Very durable with braiding and reinforced connections that don't wear.

Seto: This cable died on me after 1 year of use almost everyday
The build quality could be better first thing that stoped working was using it in gsync mode then shortly after normal mode also stoped working

Andreas: Cutting to the chase, a few months after I got the cable it, the screen flickered if the cable was touched close to the USB C connector that goes into the computer. I've tried it on 4 USB C ports on 3 computers and the same thing happens. I'm going to have to get another brand's cable now as I'm sick of my monitor stopping displaying especially while on video calls and then all my windows shunting to my laptop display since the computer no longer sees the monitor.

Slam: I purchased this cable as I wanted to use DisplayPort daisy chaining to hook up 2 monitors and my work laptop only has an HDMI port. It works great. I plugged this into my thunderbolt 3 port on my laptop and the other end to display port in on one monitor and then DisplayPort out to DisplayPort in on the second monitor with a regular DisplayPort cable. The resolutions are 1440p and 1080p and this cable handles the connection very well. Have not had any issues with flickering or lost connections. It’s really cool having 2 displays hooked up with only a single cable connection. I like the construction and the braided cable. Will buy more if the need arises.

Francesco Il Recensore: Possiedo un HP Elitebook 840 G5 aziendale, cui dotazione di fabbrica prevede come video ouput una porta HDMI 1.4.
Ho invece comprato un monitor 34'iiyama da affiancare al precedente da 24', per poter usare 2 pc in contemporanea.

Problema: il monitor 34' ha 2 ingressi HDMI 2.0 e 2 ingressi DisplayPort.
Collegando l'HP tramite cavo HDMI, mi sono reso conto mio malgrado che la massima risoluzione ottenibile era 2560x1440: questo è dovuto a un limite di standard HDMI. Con la versione HDMIv1.4 la massima frequenza è 60Hz e la massima risoluzione è 2560x1440.
Amareggiato...ho cercato in giro sul web....e ho scoperto con mia grande sorpresa che la porta USB-C (di cui è dotato il mio pc HP) prevede di default l'ouput video!

Sono andato quindi alla ricerca di un buon cavo che fosse USB-C -> DisplayPort. Le tante recensioni mi hanno spinto a provarlo...bè, funziona a meraviglia, finalmente! (e senza perdere mai un colpo)

Occhio però: quando il mio pc lavora con schermo 3440x1440 (75Hz) porta l'utilizzo di CPU e GPU molto più in alto, con conseguente surriscaldamento del pc stesso. Tenetelo a mente.
