It is not that easy to use, temperature is very unsteady, easy to burn your fingers so have to wear thick gloves, and that makes it hard to work with.

We saw the bad reviews, and thought well, it’s probably not that bad..
We were wrong! It is that bad.
The tips do not get as hot as they should and they also do not remain hot for very long, I’m constantly having to stop to let it heat up more. The plastic around the tip of the pen gets super hot, and overall it’s pretty cheaply made.
You totally get what you pay for. It’s cool if you don’t mind those few things, at first I didn’t mind either. Yet now I find it ruins the flow state. I’ve seen better wood burners in use and now I see what potential there is with wood burning and I recommend putting the money you would spend on this towards a nicer, little bit more expensive type of wood burner. It’s worth it.

It heats up quickly and gets the job done. Like all other burners I’ve had it does get warm when you are close to the black part before the actual burner so unless you’re really good at drawing with it further out in your hand expect a little warmth but not unbearable. I do love all the different tips that come with it though.
