William WoppWilliam Wopp: Bought this for my shop and didn't want to get in too deep. This unit was listed as Used very Good and was only running about $45. Couldn't be happier at this point! Plenty of features and easy to work with. Would like to see speaker balance controls on the unit instead of just on the remote but still doable. Like the unit so well that I just ordered up better speakers for it. So crank it up and rock on!

wesley ross Addington: Well first off I love that remote I've been wanting a remote for my stereo for a long time. It's great not to have to walk over there and do it physically but I've been looking for a stereo that put out enough sound that I could play my drums with and this is the one that doesn't I like the stereo a whole lot it's got a great display too I love the way that the digital display is really cool looking. But it's very functional I love it. And I am disabled and but it was easy to set up it was easy to hook speakers too it's lighter in weight than my last stereo was. I was able to hook this one all up by myself. But I also found out it's got a amplifier on it I wasn't expecting that cuz I bought a new amplifier the other day. Anyway good product if I had a catalog from you guys I might check that out see what it kind of products I had I just recently bought some tools and some other things to work on my yard with. But I had never really heard a pyle before. I am going to start looking for those products see what other kind of things you guys have. Thank you

Ken Phillipson: I recently purchased the PT 270 AIU to have an outdoor stereo around our pool. I was interested to have many formats to play music from so this receiver was attractive. I generally play music from an ipod, MP3,or USB, but my wife was adamant that it have FM as she likes to listen to NPR or talk radio while reading her Kindle. After checking pawn shops for older low budget receivers, I thought this unit would have all of the options we wanted built in, for an awesome price, and it does.

First off, many of the comments on here are spot on, and should be noted. Such as; mysteriously an on/off switch has been left off the remote, the input does revert to DVD each time you turn it on, as well as the volume is turned low (a benefit). The dancing lights although pleasant, give the impression it is an equalizer, which it isn't. Our fan is quiet, and I hope it stays that way, but I keep it in a suncast plastic outdoor cabinet, and you can't hear it. Manual is completely devoid of instructions, but who reads those anyway. The FM antenna is not worth using, and I suspect this is why many say the receiver does not work. Just take some extra speaker wire and hook it up and you will have...

Kathy Weisbein: The sound is good, and the price is reasonable. I've used it for almost a year with good reliability (although I do have to send it in for warranty service today because it stopped producing output (i.e., no sound) -- power surge perhaps, though I had it plugged in to a surge protector).

The fan quickly (within the first couple months) got pretty loud and created noticeable vibrations on the shelf. My wife would ask, "Is that a small lawn mower in there?" I had to remove the cover to lubricate the fan, which quieted it perfectly, but that did break the "no guaranty if broken" label on the back. I'll report back here if Pyle Audio has any problems with fixing the output issue because of my having to lubricate the fan. When I turn the volume knob up "too" quickly, the volume keeps going up and won't respond to counterclockwise turns to go down (runaway volume?), however, this is easily "corrected" by turning the unit off and starting it again right away... which brings-up another interesting quirk: When turning the unit on, it scrolls through the various inputs on the front panel display and NEVER stops at the one I had it on last.
