Deejaydave: Does what it says on the tin, extend the antenna to its full extent when using bluetooth, works well

Christine Luna: I just realized I have had this receiver for over a 2 years and it still works like brand new. I paired this up with my cerwin vega and it sounds amazing. These amplify and create bass. It provide a very rich clear sound. I seen there are multiple negative reviews and I am assuming the receiver must be paired with very cheap speakers or not hooked up correctly. We use this as are main source when were listening to music or having parties. I get compliments all the time and this Pyle was really cheap compared to the other receivers I looked at. There is a little hum however I can't ever hear it once the music is up and rocking. That is the only negative I can really find for this receiver. I love the look and display it easily pairs with my Iphone.

A. Steele: WARNING!!! Do not buy this receiver. Seriously, I know it's hard to trust the reviews you find here on Amazon, but please be warned now, don't buy this. Just walk away and your stress levels will return to normal. Find something else.

Problems: First of two of these units I received did not work at all!! The fan was broken and sound would not come out of the unit even after trying multiple configurations and resetting it over and over again.

The second unit worked (if that's what you call it). The sound quality was terrible. There was a loud humming noise which overwhelmed all sounds coming over the speakers, creating a strange space odyssey experience. Also, when running both of my prewired home zones, there was a constant popping noise. I thought, okay, it must be user error. So I re-wired everything and checked and re-checked all connections. Nope, not my wiring for sure. I used my Onkyo 7.1 receiver to test my speakers...perfect function (but I need that one for my family room).

I listened to the Pyle 1 zone at a time for four days to try to "break it in", but the popping never stopped. The bluetooth went in and out, even ...

N. Hiltgen: I bought this refurbished for a few bucks less then normal price but it all seems to work like new.

I ended up putting this in an outdoor rack system I built, the ears on this seem a little bit larger then standard, not a whole bunch but just enough to make it interesting. The ipod charger is good, but if you're going to put an iphone with a case in their it takes a little finagling, as it will be a snug fit, but hey that's probably not a bad thing right? The DVD (RCA) inputs work well and the bluetooth is pretty good but it does seem to have a little hiss at low levels as others have noticed. I'm suing this outside so I'm not really listening at low levels that often.

The radio portion is ok but I'm having trouble manually dialing in specific frequencies, that i can get on other radio's around the house and there seems to be a little issue with how it handles the level's of the different inputs. (the mp3 and bluetooth are lower then the rca and the radio) All in all this is a pretty sweet little receiver for the money, it drives all 4 of my speakers (plus an inline subwoofer) without any issues. I think it is absolutely perfect for outdoor...

Bryan Hryszkanich: I don't often take the time out to write reviews, but I really felt like I needed to with this product. If you are on the fence about buying this, hopefully this will help you decide. First off, I was looking for a reciever with an iPod dock that wasnt too expensive because it is stored outside, in the pool area. I figured if it wasn't too expensive, I wouldnt care all that much if it got damaged by the water. i really figured for the price, I was gonna get a low grade, crappy sounding system. I couldnt be more wrong. Here is my thoughts:

the system is LOUD.. AND CLEAR. My wife (who is not at all into audio stuff) commented on how good it sounded out there. Now I will say Pyle boasts that it is 2000 Watts.. that must be Peak and probably never hits it because its not 2000 Watts loud, but it is loud enough. I could have it over all the noise outside with no issues at all. I heard it at my neighbor's house which is quite a distance away from my house. I purchased 4 speakers for the system, 2 yamaha outdoor speakers and 2 speakers that look like rocks (to blend in the surroundings of the pool). The bass is unbelievable! I know the speakers have a...
