I use 5-HTP for help with my bipolar 1 disorder and chronic anxiety that also helps with sleep.
I use 5-HTP along with GABA, theanine, taurine, tyrosine, DHEA, Kava Kava, SAMe, and Ashwagandha to help with my mood fluctuations. I am still working on the best combination but it is a much better alternative to prescription medication and their side effects.
Diet is also a factor but in the end evaluation, it is working.

the cost was most reasonable as most offline places were expensive. the supplement has helped with regulating my sleep pattern for now i can be in a deep sleep for a few hours. please note that everyone is different with their reactions. i have already recommended this to others with anxiety, who are looking for an alternative treatment as a coping method.
