Chrissy: To say we have bad water, is an understatement since the water comes out a constant 72° here… easy to install and has been working great. Put a pitcher in the fridge to keep it cold.

Paul B.Paul B.: The media could not be loaded. The PurePlus under-sink water filter was purchased from Amazon.com to replace the existing product from another manufacturer, which needed filter replacement after 500 gallons or 6 months; the PurePlus filter lasts through 22,000 gallons. In addition to constant filter replacement, the existing system also causes very slow water flow from the separate faucet connected to the system. I contacted PurePlus support, with photos of my setup, because I wanted to retain the separate faucet and the 1/4-inch tube. They quickly sent me the appropriate push-to-connect connectors. That helped me to realize that the 1/4-inch tube OD x 3/8-inch stem OD, which I previously purchased from Amazon.com would work. As you can see from the photos, the connection did not produce any clusters of new tubing under the sink, the water flow is a lot faster, the substituted white plastic connector has grove that correspond to the one on the metal connector included with PurePlus system and, thereby, made a perfect fitting with no leakage. Jose Ramon Chacon Macias: Aunque el proveedor promete ina duración de 5 años, después de un par de meses la salida de agua se reduce, al parecer los sedimentos que tiene el agua "saturan/tapan" el filtro. Tal vez se tenga que pre-filtrar el agua de sedimentos antes del filtro, esto debería especificarlo el proveedor.
