Gypsy Freedom: This guy was razor sharp out of the box so far it seems to be holding its edge I use it while diving in the marina to do maintenance on my boat I've used it to cut Crab pot ropes off of propellers and snagged lines and stuff like that haven't taken the greatest care of it but it's not really showing any signs of resting I am a little concerned because the handle is kind of a rope wrap which is hard to wash the salt out of I suspect it will ultimately start resting underneath the wrap but in a month or two it hasn't yet
I'm a little disappointed in the sheath it's not very secure the straps to secure it to your leg or your arm or whatever or cut on the chintzy side and the locking mechanism to keep the knife from falling out of the sheath is not very secure the rope wrap kind of interferes with it and I have had it fall out of the sheath wall going through kelp so you got to be careful otherwise you'll lose it but for the price I paid for it I might have to buy a half a dozen of them and just have plenty of spares I would buy this again
